How so Wekko? He hasnt played injured or sick at all this year, has he?

He hasnt played with much heart this year either, till last night. I would say this was the exception instead of the rule. Wouldn't you?

I think Landry is our best athlete. But Mac may be our most gifted passer.

Jason Kidd's shot sucks yet he dominates the ball. Tmac is our best playmaker, you put the ball in the hands of the player you trust the most to make the right decision. That player is Tmac. Alston is our a PG but that guy makes some stupid passes.

And Tmac plays within the system. Watch the games please. I've seen him use screens along the basline and the three point line off the ball to get an open shot. He cuts through the paint to get an open shot in the free throw line. But sometimes you have to let the players be creative and freelance. Adelman did not even realize how great of a passer Tmac was until he coached him in training camp. He thought he was just going to use Tmac as a primary scorer coming off screens. But what he saw was someone who had a gift for creating EASY shots for his teammates. That's why he's still letting Tmac create and do his thing.

I don't understand how you can say he's not a team player. As if he's purposely trying to sabotage what Adelman's trying to do and bring the team down. What are you a conspiracy theorist of some kind? Aren't you the same guy who won't give credit to Tmac for his "hockey assist" b/c he didn't make the actual to pass? Stop hating man, it's bad for your health.

So lets trade MJ + Head+ pick for him. The cap I think should not be too far out

Hate to break it to you, but Landry is definitely NOT our best natural athlete. Even at this point Tmac is still one of the most athletic players in the league. He just doesn't show it that often....well......because he's afraid to attack the basket aggresively and risk another freak injury.
Landry is better athlete than most initially gave him credit for, but it does not deviate far from most scouting reports that say he just has solid athleticism. But what do they know? It takes more than freak athleticism to succeed in the league.

seriously . . i don't want to bag on you but like come on . . how many TMAC threads have we had about trading and whos better and what not? . . to answer your question, by far i'd choose TMAC, because one, when he's healthy, and when he's hot, there's not one person who can stop him, i'm sure you agree . . and second, REDD?! . .

    TMAC > REDD

come on you guys, we've won 14 of our last 17 games . . have some faith in the rockets . . plus TMAC even played his throat out last night, and played his hardest . . and we did pull out the win . . lets focus on winning more games . . and enough about TMAC!

i would only trade tmac + filler (james, francis, snyder, novak, head, brooks ) for two borderline all stars, michael redd is not enough and nobody in milwaukee is good enough that i would like to add.

2 borderline allstars for our superstar + filler which i know most are wishful thinking like:

jason terry + josh howard <-- i like this one best even losing battier or alston would be worth it.
rip hamilton + tayshaun prince <--- my second choice for tmac + battier
caron butler + antawn jamison <--- third choice

    other choices:

    jason kidd + jefferson
    iguodala + miller
    artest + bibby

Lucky for him he's in the eastern conference. But also, Kidd's passing ability and court vision exceed tmac's.

I disagree. Everytime tmac makes a few jumpers, he'll toss up a heat check. and thats normally a pull-up 3 with nobody underneath to rebound. I dont think those are the right decisions.

I personally think that we have more success when the ball goes through yao.

i've seen all the games this season.

Thats the exception, not the norm.

So where has his freelancing brought us these past few years? A few memorable games, sure. But not much else.

In this last games with the cavs, tmac played within the system. and look how our offense flowed. bonzi had maybe his best game all season.

I'm pretty sure he knew beforehand. Before accepting the coaching offer, you dont think he was familiar with the team? Everytime he's had to coach against tmac, you dont think he's read a scouting report?

in my opinion, to say that adelman didnt fathom tmac's passing skills before training camp is to essentially call adelman an idiot.

He's not a team player in the sense he isnt committed to adelman's motion offense. He still dominates the ball pretty often.

Just calling it like i see it.

I never said i didnt give him credit. but i give the guy who made the actual assist more credit. and the most credit goes to the guy who scored.

but lets not deviate from the topic at hand.

    Not by a lot.

Okay those heat checks happen once or twice a game. Who else does those kind of shots? Kobe, Lebron, Carmelo, AI, Paul Pierce, Dirk..and oh yeh Redd.....I can keep going....heck even non all star type of players like Turkoglu do it.

Watch them again. This time without wearing your Hate-Tmac glasses.

We run a hybrid offense, we do a little of both styles. He's been doing it a lot this season. Even the first few games of the season.

Give him role players that can hit shots in the playoffs and we'll go farther. Bonzi had his best game of the season b/c he actually got to the basket and scored inside instead of shooting those midrange jumpers that he hardly makes.

So you admit that he's been playing in the system these past few games but still think "he doesn't want to get used to it" and that he's not a "team player"?

I'm quoting Adelman. It was in the chronicle and one of Hilltopper's video post. If you paid attention when training camp started you would have heard it too. He said he did not know how good of a passer Tmac was until he started coaching him. Again I'm quoting him here. I'm sure someone here can confirm this too.

Again you just admitted he's been playing within the system in recent games.

Well you're seeing things that aren't there.

I don't really remember what you were arguing b/c you just kept on a on even though you were proven wrong. Makes me regret what I've gotten myself into right here.
