How do you know Tmac is over his peak? Did you not watch the games he played in before he got injured? 29 isn't that old and he doesnt have serious injuries like microfractures. Even on one leg he has shown that he still has his hops unlike Kobe (which I havent seen him finish strong as much anymore).

IMO if you add Redd, the Roxs will still lose in the first round if they make it to the playoffs. Even though Tmac never got out the first round we know he does perform very well in the playoffs. I dont even blame him for losing those series because I believe if the other players stepped up then it would the Rox would of won.

Between 2002 and 2007, Redd missed 38 games. In the same period, T-Mac missed 92 games. Is T-Mac enough better than Redd to make up 10 extra games a season?

You stole the words right out of my mouth. All I can say now is that T-Mac is on the cover of NBA live 2007.

I can't stand Michael Redd. He may be a better shooter % wise, but his game is so one-dimensional. He's NOT a good defensive player. He has poor court vision, and he doesn't like to pass the ball.

So you're talking about trade probably the best and most talented wing player in the league for a guy that can only shoot and score and do nothing else. In fact, Redd is not even a top tier star. He ain't even on the same level as TMAC.

To that, I want to give you an emphatic HELL NO!!

Redd? Some people will take Luther Head over Steve Nash I guess.

I have a question for you and I want a yes or no answer.

Do you think that Redd is a batter basketball player than Mcgrady?

I get the feeling that some of you guys would rather try to win a race with a Ferrari that runs right 80% of the time than with a Corvette that runs right 95% of the time. In the end it's not going to matter that the Ferrari is the better overall car because 20% of the time it's going to be on the side of the track.

For the slow people here, McGrady is the Ferrari and Redd is the Corvette.

I will not believe that a man at the age of 28 is past his peak. I think Tracy have a lot of great basketball left in him. The problem is health.

would u really say 44% (considering he had 2 2-10 games due to injury (dallas/orlando) a LOW fg%?

kobe shoots 44%. ray allen shoots 41%. pierce shoots 42%. i mean really, he's not lebron or wade, but *******, kobe shoots 44% too.

u can say he's a bad ft shooter, injury proned, and doesn't take it to the rack enough, but 44% is pretty damn good considering he doesn't take it to the rack as much as he should.

    McGrady has played

    00-01 - 77 games
    00-02 - 76
    02 -03 - 67
    04-05- 78
    05-06 - 47
    06-07 - 71

He has played close to 70 and more for 4 out of 5 seasons. Would you not want Shaq (before his ****ty play) even though he misses half the season most of the time? Would you not want Greg oden (if he turned out really good) just because he was injured his rookie year? Would you not want Manu or Duncan just because constantly injured lately? You guys act like hes sideline 90 percent of the time but in reality hes not. So yeah I would take the Ferrari and get me the babes while you guys can be an average joe :)

it's health man. nobody in their right minds would even think of that. but injuries can destroy the public's perception of a player really quick, and understandably so.

i would do this in a heart beat.

we've all seen the head-to-head stats. redds shooting %'s alone make up for tmacs assists. we dont even have to get into the fact that tmacs health will allways keep the rockets out of home court. he just misses too many games to put together a great record.

and why is everyone so caught up on tmacs assists? i'd rather have a shooter like redd running of screens in adelmans offense, than a guy who wants to play PG and go one-on-on rather than use the offense to his advantage.

bottom line is tmac is a great player. but his health, shooting %'s, and strangle hold on the offense will never let the rockets take off.

Redd's not a catch and shoot guy though. Every time I've seen him, he needs to take a couple rythm dribble before he lets it fly. He really is a player that like to create his own jump shot. He does drive to the hoop more, but I got the impression that he puts his head down when he does that and misses his open teammates quite often. I could be wrong, I've only seen the bucks play a couple times this season.

Stats don't show everything. When Redd receives the ball he dribbles and makes jump shots....a lot of 3 pts made before his teammates are ready... not something you want to throw into RA system. He does a lot of stat padding. In a losing team like Bucks if you choose to play that way you can raise your ppg by at least 4 quite easily.

Basically he's like Mike James at his prime. He will help your team once in a while but more often than not you'll find him an annoying ballhog. I'll stay away from him.
