Yall need to to stop with this fuqing negativity around here. Every single thread is a bashfest. The guy is extremely candid and I didn't hear any excuses. Just reality. He said I am not as athletic, but I am just as good a player because I can do other things. There was more insight on that interview than the whole darn Houston media in the last 2 years
the t-mac i've seen the past couple days has looked really good. i don't know if he'll again be the dunk on bradley t-mac, and he doesn't have to be, but he's not that far off. in the preseason and first handful of games he looked a lot slower then he does now. i think the time off plus his shot not falling really hurt his confidence and maybe he felt like he lost a step more then he did. now his shot is looking smoother and he's getting by people at will again, so his confidence is rising. we might be laughing at the idea that he's lost a step a month from now.
Makes excuses like I do, but I still think he can come through. He said he was amazed with some of the things he was doing, and he felt like he still had something in him. I believe he will feel that more and more and eventually come back to at least 80% of his Orlando days which is good enough for me.
Exactly. Not an athletic freak, but still better than most players in the league. He dominatted the first half last night even though he didn't have a huge half scoring. He's doing other things and is a more complete player. HE's more experienced now and understands the game better.
I think the point is if tmac says chicago represents their coach and are in perpetual motion and are fighters, therefore he thinks houston is different and sometimes stagnant and not fighters. at least that's what it sounded like on the interview because he sounds surprised at how chicago plays.
T-Mac does talk out of his ass I admit it. It's not that hard to see. He even said that his "losing a step" was because he's been out for a while, not because he's losing his game. Maybe he should have thought before he spoke those words. He caused a hell of a lot of uncertainty in his fans, and in Rockets fans. Also, it's not our position to be mad at him wanting to play baseball, he's still fulfilling his contract, BUT saying it in a middle of a basketball season where you're not doing SO hot is kind of scary. Also it's not our position to compare him to Kobe and all physically. He's just not as physical as Kobe we've got to admit that and Tracy's got to play to his strengths. Even if he can't be as physically able to play the game past his early 30's, he's GOT to give it his all for this last contract at least. He's really got to watch what he's saying man he's ruining his image with a lot of people and getting his integrity questioned. T-Mac, YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE TO EVERYONE THIS SEASON AND THAT IS YOU STILL GOT IT AND YOU CAN LEAD A TEAM. YOU HAVE YAO FRICKIN MING ON YOUR TEAM. GET IT DONE MAN.
