Well, I would say maybe TMac needs to suck it up. But if he has to, than surely you do to. Logic: (something bothers TMac & TMac lets it out) == (something bothers ced & ced lets it out) OR (something bothers TMac & TMac sucks it up) == (something bothers ced & ced sucks it up)
I would agree with you if this was a once in a while thing, but this guy is unbelievable. Nick Van Excell said it best when he was on 1560 the other day..."EVERY PLAYER IN THE NBA IS HURT, or soar or hurting", Tmac is just the one who shows it ALL THE TIME. He is OBVIOUSLY not Superhuman, but stop showing everyone your hurt all the time. His whole personal issues a couple of years ago.....had to go on TV and mention he was having problems, and he's been through so much, yada yada yada.....we all have problems. They stay at home when you come to work. Your PAID TO WORK, not complain about your personal issues. F**K that, the guy is a injury prone p***y and I'm sick of making excuses for him to my friends. I now agree with them. Overpaid crybaby.
No matter what he has, it's still something that the team should deal with properly. Just going out and playing on it isn't the solution. If it's something a little more serious than a regular ache, then it needs to be treated. Tell me what's more appealing to you : T-Mac going out and playing on an already hurt shoulder against Minnesota, taking the risk of injuring it further, and having to miss extended time or playing it safe, getting an X-ray, knowing for sure whether or not the injury is serious, and maybe having to miss a game against a last place team after which we have 3 full days of rest. Sometimes you have to put yourself in the player's AND the franchise's shoes before you can truly understand how a team works. Being a fan is the easy part.
Put a sock in it. You are being RIDICULOUS. He has to show up and tell the world he is hurt? He was asked by a reporter you dramatic fool. And so what. You have an injury, youre asked about it, so you give an honest answer. You guys are acting like freaks.
give it up dude...we have gone through this with tmac a millon times...somethings never change...unfortunately for us tmac will never change, and he will always have some excuse, injury, personel problem, bad teamates, etc....
How am I being ridiculous? Last I checked, this is a forum, in which I am able to give an opinion. That's what I have done. Besides that YOU CAN JUST KISS MY ASS.
Asked before, but I guess I have to pose it again. Where in his quote about the shoulder did he say he wouldn't "suck it up" and play?
Wait a minute. Am I missing something here? Is this some alternate universe I've just entered because I could have sworn my team just won 24 out of 27 games.
THE TRUTH HURTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When he wants to be....TMac is a beast, a sharp shooter, and an aggressive slasher. Memo to opposing teams: Best Defense on TMac....one hard foul delivering a slightly uncomfortable feeling will have him grimacing and crying the remainder of the game enough to effectively get in his head. You just have to man up. When he makes attempts to "man up" he mopes around so as to make sure everybody knows he is trying to be a warrior. I love'im, but I know he has flaws and that is a big one.
Oh so if Tmac would have just told the reporter who asked about his shoulder to kiss his ass instead of giving an honest answer then he would NOT be a pansy. You are not being neurotic at all.
McGrady has shown some toughness lately with some 48 minute games, and by playing through a couple small injuries Monday (playing pretty aggressively in the 2nd half, too). With that said, even though I am usually one of the first to defend McGrady from dumbass haters, there is one concern I have about McGrady of late. He has said repeatedly to interviewers over the past several games that the Rockets only care about the playoffs and are "playing for May". Those comments (unless I'm misinterpreting them), combined with his relatively poor recent play (even before the streak ended), have given me the impression that McGrady has decided to mostly relax until the playoffs start. ... I mean I DO like the idea of him turning it up come playoff time, but I just hope he doesn't take it too easy. We have a very good shot at getting HCA. We can't blow that by letting off the gas.
No, no, no, I like this stuff...I'm not sure what to call it...but I think it's a GREAT thing to have going on when your team is winning 24 out of 27.
Rockets should let T-Mac rest everytime he says "my (insert part of the body) is hurting" when he plays hurt he often starts playing lazy not to force his body and that often translates into bad games, bad games are bad for his confidence, and this late in the season you don´t want your only available superstar to be without confidence. It will also help Adelman to find who can be the reliable third scorer (Rafer was third with Yao and now is second) now that we don´t have yao, i think By logic it should be Scola. I want to see Scola playing some High Pick n Rolls with Rafer or Tracy, the same goes for Landry.
I think those 48 minute games have alot to do with RA...I think he is telling mac that he is not coming out, so stop pouting and play...for example when Mac had that devestating ankle injury RA kept him in... When mac was playing like **** against Boston and the Lakers RA kept him in for heavy mins. I think RA is trying to prove a point to mac that its all in his mind... That being tired isnt an excuse, so play.
what you mean like how he sucked it up and played against the Kings with his ankle hurt? The dude plays through pain a lot...he was not 100% for awhile when he came back from his knee injury and kept playing
