You said the flu is different than any minor injury T-Mac currently has...he played with the flu and did not complain. By your tone it appeared as though you were trying to diss T-Mac and show Jordan was more of a man for playing with the flu, when in reality T-Mac also played with the flu (and didn't dramaticize it as much).

I hope Yao can recover sooner too. But history showed he has high possibility of getting injured again. I hope I am wrong.

The other poster was comparing Tmac playing with minor physical injuries for the majority of the season to jordan playing with the flu for a few playoff games. He was saying that both of them constantly looked like they were in a great deal pain.

I was merely pointing out that playing with minor injuries is much different than playing with the flu. In addition to that, tmac's injuries have pretty much spanned the entire season whereas jordan's flu was for a few games. Not to mention that jordan did eventually lead his team to the title.

As such, it was a bad comparison.

My only problem with Tmac is that his defense suffers so much when he hurts and he doesn't run the floor on offense. If you too hurt to play D, then sit down and get well. We can win at least 50% of the remaining games without you.

Because Tmac at 50 percent is probably still the Rockets best player. Whether the Rockets can win 50 percent of the game or not without Tmac is hard to say but getting the highest seed in order to get home court advantage is definitely worth playing for.

i agree tmac's D has been very sloppy this yr as he doesn't go through picks well (he only tries when possessions are crucial), but it doesn't really hurt us on D b/c he always guards the worst players.

and i don't think we can win even 50% of the remaining game without him--considering 7 of the last 10 are on the road. (we don't have yao ming dude). you don't understand how much tmac opens up for others. if yao was playing right now, tmac might rest a few games here or there to really get healthy. but he can't afford to right now.

true, but my comparison wasn't at that. what i'm saying is when you're in pain, you WILL show pain (in response to drexler's point that you shouldn't have any look of pain even if you're in pain when you're playing). when you have the flu, you have fatigue, myalgia, arthralgia (lots of pain basically).

that's all i'm saying. people on here were saying tmac was being weak/soft for grimacing for some "minor" injuries.

im willing to put 500$ that the rockets lose the series vs any other other top 8 teams in the west.

San Antonio,Dallas,Pheonix,New Orleans, Denver, Golden State, Utah, Lakers.

In a series, only vs denver we have a slight chance. Vs the others its a sure lose.

Funny the previous last 2 posters both have less than 20 posts. Troll?
You join a forum just to diss? How nice.

Get outta here whatever fan you 2 are, the rockets have better chemistry than all the other teams. We did it with rookies and average players. And we're still a top tier team.

T-mac blaming his teammates? I guess telling his teammates to make open shot is a blame, not a true statement. You haters are pathetic. T-mac out of kobe, lebron, duncan and all other stars, is possibly the one who gives his teammates most credit. Have you ever seen an allstar poll leading player call himself unworthy of all star?

Omg I can't belive, I can't belive. I didn't even need to look at your nickname, numbers of posts and status to notice that you are rookie. But that's not the key (i'm rookie also).

But with posts like that I don't belive you are Rockets' fan, really and I don't belive this board needs posters like you.

Man read your post again and look what you wrote. MAN, YAO MING IS OUT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. And you tell me Tracy should learn the spirit from Yao? You gotta be kidding me? Because what, Tracy got hit into his shoulder and now it is sore? But he kept playing, he played vs. Wolves and I don't know if you know he carried the team in the 4th.

I'm not saying it is Yao's fault, I feel sorry for him, but you just can't change the fact that he is out for the rest of the season and he again has an injury which doesn't allow him to play for months...

Exactly. It's funny there are people saying that the Rockets can't afford to have McGrady get hurt, they need to cut his minutes, etc. Then people start threads saying he needs to "suck it up" and play more minutes and risk getting hurt. What is it going to be people?

Then those people are idiots. If you look at basketball games close enough you will see PLENTY of players grimacing in pain. I've seen guys like Shaq and Kobe and KG. KG has looked like he has been in pain the last few months and probably came back to early from his injury.

like i said, if kobe or iverson was on this team, they'd be called a "warrior"
