I didn't say there was anything wrong with that quote in particular. But he has made guarantees in the past (if you get the last part), so I'm just afraid he might say something in the future that he might regret. But again, I don't think there's anything wrong with this particular statement that he made.

This isn't bad at all. I don't like it when he said how tired he was at half time, though. Tracy definitely needs to stop talking sometimes. He also needs to stop saying "man" before every sentence. A classic Tracy quote that should have never been said: "Man, when my contract is up I want to try to play baseball." Baseball? This one is fine. I've learned to brush off most of what Tracy says and I only concentrate on the reaaly dumb things.
Exactly the point. T-mac has said dumb things in the past, and when he continues to say dumb things, it annoys people. If he only said one or two dumb things in his career, no one would say anything. List of dumb things I can think of: Guaranteeing against Pistons, baseball, his whole "family issues" thing he kept bringing up but never actually telling anyone what it was about, guaranteeing hawks, crying after Utah. Just a few. There is definitley more.

Mr. Over-react Much? Again, I DIDN'T SAY THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS STATEMENT. I SAY THIS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. I've followed Tmac ever since he first got to Orlando, and he is my favorite player, but that does not mean I can't express concerns about certain things about him; everybody has a flaw. Tmac is by no means an arrogant and cocky player, but sometimes he can gets too caught up in the moment and says thing that can be deemed cocky or arrogant. There's no way you can deny what he said in the 2003 playoffs, and I blame him for saying that. However, that does not mean I'm ripping the guy.. You seem to have a history of over-reacting to me and other people's post when it relates to Tmac.....

If you haven't noticed, everyone is overreacting to this thread. My point was do we have to bring up the past everytime TMac has something to say?? If he said something wrong go ahead and flame him, but if you admit that he didn't say anything wrong this time then why bring up the past over and over again.
Sigh......its called an opinion Mr. Over-react You may not have a problem with what he has said in the past, but I'm merely expressing my worries and concerns which are purely my own opinion. Therefore you have no right to say I can or cannot bring up his past. Geez
