It's super normal to care which players other people like and dislike.

I like how tinman turned this thread into completely ignoring the topic and OP and instead making it about McGrady's career. Really insightful.

Harden don't have 1/2 the talent TMac did and if you disagree you are either a novice when it comes to NBA basketball , or a mild r****d!!

Is it fair then to say the reason why you hate TMac and love Maxwell even though Maxwell's betrayal is much worse is that Maxwell apologized and TMac never did (that we know of)? Fair enough. While Maxwell's apology was obvious, easy, and not particularly brave (was there any alternative? no one could have defended his actions), an apology still has value. You see on TV on courtroom shows - some dude kills some parents' kids. An apology won't do jack tangibly, but it really bothers the victim's family if they don't get one. So, it's the lack of apology. That should wrap it up, eh?

I think McGrady's betrayal was more calculated and much worse because he was our star player.

Maxwell is like if ariza left the rockets.

Mcgrady is like yao or harden leaving.
Except mcgrady never earned any credit cause he never accomplished any team success.

People hate Barkley here, but he played his ass off as a rocket and most likely got screwed by les.

But Barkley put us over seattle our nemesis.

On top of that mcgrady brought obnoxious player only fans from europe who can't find houston on the map.

If i can't change your mind on maxwell, I'm not going to worry about it.

You're my brother and i know you love the rockets

    thank you, t-mac.

I really, REALLY hate Jalen Rose. Please keep him at ESPN and away from any of Bill Simmons' new endeavors.

tmac played in less than 22 games of the winning streak

that was a team effort led by Rick Adelman

tmac is not a leader, he couldn't lead a favored rockets team over a crappy utah jazz team

tmac only played in 20 playoff games for the rockets.. that's it

harden has already played in 29 in only 3 years a rocket

tmac fans love to troll because harden passed him up in accomplishments and probably career

McGrady played 21 of the 22 games. Much ado about nothing. He wasn't lighting it up during that streak though. He scored over 30 points only 5 times. He certainly wasn't the reason the streak occurred, but he was a big part of it. Especially his passing.

And Scola was the leader of that streak.

It's undeniable that Maxwell is a central figure in the Clutch City story. Any argument over how the Rockets matched up with the Bulls is going to feature Maxwell's history guarding Jordan. Nobody shot gamewinners better. He is the Father of Clutch City.

I think you would be a great Clutch City Historian overseeing a world class Rockets History section on this site. Posts in the forum have a lifetime measured in minutes. Why not put your time and energies into something that might last? Just an idea.

Barkley was cool. Earned his paycheck. Could have benefited from Otis Thorpe's commitment to fitness.

You could've answered him in one post. But we know you'd rather ignore the OP/truth and make this a senseless bashing thread that has nothing to do with the topic, like you always do.

And it's funny that the person who singlehandedly keeps Lin alive on this forum and has dedicated thousands of posts to him calls me Jeremy Lin.
