    What jalen said about your best player being a severe defensively liability and equating that to accountability is what I've said for years. Its the same with melo. Dirk wasnt a great defender ,but he gave good effort. When the suns tried to hide nash and guys would light him up, its hard to make anyone play defense. What has changed with curry and gsw? They dont hide him on defense,he competes,and now the coach can point to him as an example. Its not that hard. Some reason or another, Harden has been coddled and catered to. His effort on defense is atrocious most of the time. Offensively, if he doesn't have the ball, he does 0 to help his teammates.

    All there quotes are spot-on and everyone would agree if they came from someone else. Embarassing how this thread turns into a bashing of Billups, Rose and McGrady.

    This is why many people think of Rockets Fans as a joke. "They said something that is true but makes us look bad, let's personally insult them. Yea, that will surely do."

    And agree with daywalker, pathetic how people now run away from the quotes and solely mention McGrady's past to somehow neutralize what THREE respected players in this interview and basically every journalist says.

    All Tmac said was its all on the players, and he is correct. We got to 10-0 start last year with Mchale, the team now is more talented than the team last year. Its all on the players, specifically with Harden who played like a total scrub in all our losses. In games in which the Rox won Harden had a good to great game. It doesn't take an MIT degree to solve that equation.

    Not sure why Tmac and Jalen are getting bashed when what they're saying is correct :rolleyes:
