Yes, it's all about commitment. The only thing Harden commits on defense are fouls.

 

He can't cover everybody's man. I'm not bashing Howard for his on court play so far this season. However he is partially to blame for the locker room antics being played out in the media.

It's funny because you know this is the same kinda stuff they wanted to say about us ALLLLL of last year, but the blowup never happened. They've been wanting this for so long. Pour it on.

I'm not gonna defend Harden's performance so far this season, but it's clear these guys don't watch a lot of Rockets games. And I mean dating back to 2011 when McHale was first hired. He's never been a good coach. Even last season when he did his best job with the Rockets, Harden bailed his ass out on many nights.

McHale needed to go. The players had tuned him out, and the truth is he never had them prepared for the season. The players have a lot to answer for, but so did he.

 

I'm all in on this. I hope they keep bashing. This is the exact kind of motivation that Harden has responded to in the past.

 

I would give him a break if Capela wasn't doing like 45%.

 

Tmac didn't bash the team. All he said was that it's more on the players which is true.

 

Who cares about Billups. He was severely overrated. Jalen Rose played zero defense. Tmac quit on the Rockets, he knows all about it being on the players.

 

I've been telling 2 of my coworkers (who happen to be at the game tonight) the same thing, James is the catalyst for this team No Defense = no chance.

 

I'm very surprised Tinman has not appeared in this thread yet.

 

All is true. Except for Dwight. Dwight has nothing to do with this ****hole we're in.

 

This isn't complicated. An NBA team is only as good as their best player. If Harden plays like crap, the Rockets play like crap. If Harden plays at a MVP level, the Rockets play like legit contenders. They go where he pulls them.
