5 games. 5 games i have been waiting for that one moment where T-Mac does something to have everyone go crazy.

He finally did it when he tomahawked the dunk over AK. That is what everyone in Houston has been waiting for. That fire to attack the rim with recklesness like he did tonight.

I really hope he brings that intensity to game 6 and we seal the deal.

    Hey its again 1 game.

TMac needs to do this EVERY GAME, Home, road, whereever he is.

Awesome playing today, it made up for 2 losses in Utah because this game was critical, but come on end it in Game 6 PLEASE. If we play GS, they can't stop Yao, Yao will have a field day if he just keeps the ball up high and gets good low post position.

Come on Rockets show heart in UTAH PLEASEEEE.

are u kidding me? have u seen the moving zone the warriors have played on dirk?

yao will be SWARMED like the suns D. dirk can't even get inside the paint. yao might not even touch the ball w/ their D.

warriors play EXACTLY like the suns, except w/ better defense.

TMac refused to let the Jazz and Rafer beat him! :)

Precisely my thought when I saw this thread.

Seriously, how many "T-Mac is Back!" threads have there been? They seem uncountable. I'm thinking this is because T-Mac is coasting a good 70% of the time.

It makes me wonder why we can't play that zone... a box and one, or 3/2. If you say that the Jazz are a good shooting team, I would dare say that the Mavs are even better. Even then, the Warriors are using their zone to nullify them. As I said, we need to play zone to protect Yao!

I never understand why Tmac decides to settle during some games and attack during others.

His mentality, or lack of it in certain games drives me batty.

As well as he played today, that does not make the whole series. He was playing lethargic for a good 3.5 games now since the playoffs started. There's nothing wrong in critizing him especially when he volunteered to step up to the plate and take responsibility. You got back your word. When you don't, its fair game to get criticized.

I never bashed T-mac for games 3 and 4, and was a solid believer that he would come back. And he did in Game 5. But, I do have an issue with that play with less than a minute to go where T-mac deffered to Yao. Seriously, is it just me or should T-mac have made that his play? With less than a minute to go, close game, you say it's on you, but you give it to Yao (who gets called for an offensive foul).

I can understand letting someone else score, but in those situations, I would expect the self-proclaimed SUPERSTAR of the team to step up and make a play, either by scoring or by driving, drawing the defense, and kicking it out for an assist. T-Mac did neither and gave it to Yao to try and make a play. Very disappointing to me. The Jordan and Kobe level players would've taken it on themselves to make that play with less than a minute to go. :(

He was pretty good last night but I don't see how that erases the lack of effort he showed in Utah.
