Agreed... but I think it works both ways (I doubt you disagree, just mentioning it). I sincerely hope that we do not forget the lessons learned in Utah. This team needs a personnel upgrade at point guard and an improved bench. I can say that without being scorned because we won... had we lost I'd be getting the reactionary treatment.
Do not let them suppress you! Do not let them suppress the truth. Moses had to persevere. Jesus had to persevere Mohammed had to persevere. Zboy has been persevering. Will you persevere with me? Will you keep spreading the message for the good of Rockets against ignorance? Make no alliance except with the Rockets. Amen Brutha! Moses - "As I put on this RED attire, let it be known which team I stand by.....Ahh yes yes where was I? Ahh the RED sea of course....."
http://broadband.nba.com/cc/playa.p...press_wm_1_050819.asx&video=blank&nbasite=nba Check out "5 Star: Tracy McGrady" the one where he shakes his first defender to the ground, and then splits the other two for a crazy layup!!! HOW DID THIS NOT GET MORE PLAY IT WAS AMAZING
I was hyper critical of the ENTIRE TEAM on Saturday night, but I did not (in my comments or my thoughts) throw TMAC under the Bus. Anyone can tell that he's been the target of tremendous defensive pressure and outright cheating by those too whipped to actually try and guard him straight up... I was prepared to throw JVG and Rafer under the bus, and for that matter I still am. JVG will not make it off the "list" (see Stephen Colbert) until the ROX are firmly into the 2nd Round of the WC playoffs with at least a chance to move on the Round 3!!! Having said that, I totally agree with the thread!!! TMAC was ALL WORLD tonight. I'd like to see Kobe come up with 26/16 dimes while playing against half the Jazz at one time. The dude was flat out brilliant tonight. One more game like that against the Jazz and there's no telling how far we might be able to make it.... GO ROX!!!
I posted this in the "Photoshop the Joy" thread this afternoon to inspire T-Mac and it looks like it worked!
T-Mac deserved every bit of criticism he got for that pathetic effort in Game 4, just like he deserves every bit of praise for his season saving performance tonight. But maybe that's just me.
I'm with you on this. Like I've said in the other Tmac thread, his true test is game 6 on the road. If he can ignore the hostile atmosphere and keep up his high intensity, then that'll be the time when he really deserves all praises IMO. But if he wins that game, he won't really need to hear any praises from anyone because the 2nd round should be more rewarding than anything.
26 points was solid. Difference between 16 assists and 6 assists is teammates making jumpshots... Any wonder why Steve Nash gets so many??

when he plays how he's SUPPOSE to play we rejoice?? what do you mean "he's back?"" where the hell does he keep going that he has to come back??
yep there's to much cry baby's here!!! u can say everything but to trade the best basketball player in the world!!!????!!!!???!!! no way!!
One game is not going to offset the play in the first 4 games! What if comes out shooting bricks again in game 6? Tmac needs to keep taking it to the hole if were going to have a chance to make it past this series.
Why do we rejoice? For that exact reason: he hasn't been here in a while. The dunking, driving, attacking, animated T-Mac hasn't been here in a while. You're telling me you're not happy that he's shown up again, only expecting it? He probably shouldn't have gone anywhere, but he did, and now he's back. It's time to rejoice, so long as it lasts in Utah.
