Got his luck back? His 'luck' saved the Rockets' asses 3 games in a row, my friend. He's been taking it to the rack a lot more now, and that creates opportunities for others. I'm pretty happy about T-Mac's games so far, the others...not so much. They just need to gel, and quickly.

When Kobe got his three rings, don't you forget he had a center named SO? After Lakers traded SO, Lakers never get out of the first round. Of cause things can change, if you think T-Mac is better than he was, he can try his eleventh year with those jumpers in the play off.

Ya, right, he always saves his team. Why can't Rox get some easy wins against weak team? Why the other 4 stand while he play? Right, his teammates suck, he never gets good teammates.

    read my post first please.

u said a guy having a fg of 44-45% can't be trusted, that's what kobe has.

yes he had shaq and i told u that shaq and the team carry them for the first 3 quarters so kobe has the legs and energy to finish.

the same thing is happeneing with tmac right now. notice how he has played 43 minutes the last 2 nights and not look tired one bit despite not being in the best of shape. the team has helped him carry the load in the first 3 quarters my friend.

it's hard to get 24-25 assists standing around and watch tmac like u say

This **** is beyond old. T-Mac is not the reason he hasn't gotten out of the first round. sometimes I do wish the Rockets would trade him so we can see how miserable we will be with some lesser talent in his place. We are winning against teams that happen to be playing better basketball. Indy shot lights out from the 3 pt line, Minny is beating a lot of playoff bound teams, Portland is a good team, almost beat Utah, etc.

If we didn't have Mac in our playoff series, we would have gotten beat badly. He won games for us on jumpers (much like the all-mighty, can do no wrong Kobe). He displays fire, passion, will to win, leadership, and clutchness. Against dallas, he just ran out of steam, and no one else could do jack. 40 pnt loss. Against Jazz, we have defensive liabilities. Can't win if you can't stop them from scoring on easy looks. Take Tracy out of those playoff series and we probably get sweeped in both...

T-Mac in the same sentence as "killer instinct" is like having Bonds in the same sentence as "naturally getting younger as I get older". :D

Yes, he is. Once he is back, the team chemistry is killed instantly.

Tmac can shoot over anyone, made it or not is another story.

His career shooting percentage is not so good,

    Rockets just got lucky recently,

remember 13 in 35s, that is so Tmac,

that's why he is a 1st round loser.

Tmac is so telent, he will never learn team ball, will he?

When the game is on the line (crunch time close game), Kobe normally drive to the basket. That will open the more opportunately, easier to score, get a foul call, get open teammates, if you miss, you may get a rebound. Because, at this point, you want to more than 80% chance to score in order to beat your oponent. Remember how Kobe fouled Shaq out in the late game?

T-Mac normally does the contested jumpers when the game is on the line. He did hit those jumpers in the last few games. He even hit several 3s in the last 42 seconds for the game against Spurs. But do you think he will continue to hit those contested late jumpers? Also in the playoff?

You know Kobe takes a lot of jumpers in crunch time too right? Mac drives sometimes he shoots sometimes, just like Kobe. Remember Mac driving and kicking to Rafer for a 3 to put us up 4 (i think it was 4) in a recent game?

Kobe is the man, no doubt. But let's not talk like all Mac does is shoot jumpers. he does both.

He does both, but honestly, he takes jumpers far more than he drives.

Maybe he does it b/c he's afraid he might get injured? Who knows.

T Mac is getting his mojo back. He is recovering from what was a real injury. He is happy to see the rookies doing well. The team is playing well. Be happy.

It was sure miserable reading all the trade T Mac, T Mac is worthless and not really injured threads.

I do think that it is important to limit his minutes if you want him to be available to take over in the last 5 minutes.

Someone posted earlier in the season a chart that showed a percentage of FGAs based on type. Anyways, Kobe shot 76% jumpshots. T-Mac was 78% jumpshots. Ray Allen was 80% jumpshots. Lebron was in the middle 60%, D-Wade was right around 50%.

T-Mac has been getting ZERO calls when he drives the lane lately. I have seen D-League level talent get calls on less contact than T-Mac has gotten lately. Now, since it is not as easy to make a shot when you get fouled wouldn't it make sense to take a shot that you can hit without having to rely on the refs to do their job if the defender fouls you??

I know if I kept driving the first few quarters, getting fouled and not getting the benefit of the doubt on any of them, I'd be shy about doing it again when every possession is magnified. If they aint going to call it early, they sure as hell aint going to call it late. Just ask Lebron against Detroit in the play-offs last year.(he got fouled twice on the same drive)

Also, can someone get T-Mac some shoes that don't send out electromagnetic impulses through the court that makes the shoes of his teammates stick to the floor??

So he's shooting jumpers b/c he doesn't think he'll get the foul called if he penetrates.

In that case...No. Tmac is not getting his killer instinct back.

I cant be sure, I dont know him or talk to him. But I know, if I had the skillset of T-Mac and every time I drive I have a good chance of getting fouled with no call, I might be more inclined to take that J especially if my man is sagging. To T-Mac's credit he does still drive, but really looks for that open man when the defense rotates.

What does taking the higher percentage "play" have to do with killer instinct? Killer instinct is making plays down the stretch. Which he has been doing in the 4th quarter a lot lately. Not having to carry the load all game has given T-Mac fresher legs in the 4th and his elevation on the jumper is good.

The T-Mac hate in the face of a very clutch performance is mind boggling.

T-Mac is 50% from the field in the 4th quarter going back to the blazers game.

No kidding. He willed this team to a victory the last three games, both seattle games and many others this season. Why do people hate on the guy this badly? Seriously, I quit going over to another hoops forum because of irrational biased bashing. Seems like I found it here only this is a place of all 'Rockets' fans. Ridiculous.

i'm glad he got his killer instinct back...

it would suck to have one of your favorite Nintendo 64 games out for that long. Its like when you loan someone Mario Kart and they forget to return to you for weeks.
