hind sight is always 20-20 but if you use hind sight you can clearly tell it is a good thing morey did NOT go with this plan. First gortat wasnt even worth the full mid level and since orlando matched that, in order to get him we would have had to offer him more money then that and he is not worth it .. second we essentially got kevin martin instead of ben gordan..and martin has better stats and basically the same salary numbers as gordon for a shorter period of time. LASTLY the route morey took got him 2 potential lottery picks and a promising player in jordan hill.. all for the additional cost of losing landry who was great but a bench player and someone whose output can be matched atleast 70% with the combo of patterson and hill
