T-Mac for Baron Davis? (Update from Sporting News)

    <font size=3 face=times>Just heard on ESPN, that the Rockets may get Kyle Lowry and Brian Cook in a 3-team deal between Magic & Grizzlies with Rafer goin to Orlando.

    i'd have rather pulled the trigger for Baron... than Lowry (although i like that trade too - anything that got rid of Alston,,)

    I never could understand why people wanted Baron so bad... if everyone thought Alston was bad at taking too many three-pointers, then they would have HATED Baron Davis. He averaged better than 35% three-point shooting twice throughout his 9-year career, and he consistently shoots like 6 or 7 a game.

    And he is absolutely horrible at the half-court offense. He fit in perfectly in Golden State... but he decided to go to his hometown instead, and he's probably regretting it now.

    Was it about getting Baron? Or getting the hell rid of McGrady...

    I'm all for getting rid of Tracy... but I honestly feel that Baron's chucking would just end up hurting this team as well.

    And considering his contract is for like 6 years... I'd rather have Tracy.
