Well, that sucks. I bet nothing happens now. I guess letting T-Mac's contract expire isn't the worst option.

everyone keeps calling it risky. but what the hell was it when we traded for a player that was quitting on his team, had nagging injuries and making it public he wanted out of ORLANDO?

That was just as RISKY if not more risky than getting baron davis.

Morey said otherwise on the radio last week. He said the 2010 thing is overhyped.

    Just sayin...

If everyone is going one way - playing the Summer '10 Game then what is so wrong about striking now and stealing off with a title shot?

Los Angeles also discussed a trade that would send Davis to Houston, but sources tell Marc Stein that any such deal will not happen.

So you'd rather have a 27% 3-point shooter, than the only actual point guard the Rockets have?

If the Rockets can just give up Tracy, then I'm all for this deal. If not, then to hell with it.

Not sure making that comparison is going to get anyone on this board to agree with you...

Yeah, and they traded the core of their team back then. This would be trading a guy that won't play for the rest of this season and probably will miss next season as well. It doesn't make sense unless Morey has another deal on the table.

BD goes to GSW for Maggette? Dallas has turned it down since Kidd is expiring.

Didnt Dallas already pass up the Kaman/Baron deal? And if GSW and LA swap Maggette and Davis, then they are just r****ded.

Don't trust ESPN. These are the same chumps who thinks McGrady injury is real.

Man, I hope I'm not disappointed tomorrow at two...

I mean, if we're the ones holding out on the McGrady-Baron trade, I don't get it. McGrady has probably played his last game in a Rockets uniform (even if he's not traded). I know Davis' contract isn't amazing, but we would be set at point guard for awhile.

If, and that is such a big big word, If this is a reliable rumor then BD + Camby + Hart + draft pick(s) = Trace of McGrady + Rafer.

TMac is thru for '09 and likely until '10-'11 season (with his rehab history thru forever seems the correct prescription). Isn't this some value?

if thats the case then i wont question morey cause he knows best about production to salary ratio and he knows the team would rather have mcgrady expiring next season and have that important asset going into next season when teams will be despearate and delusional enough to want to clear cap space thinking they gotta a chance in 2010 sweepstakes

NEVER QUESTION DARYL 'DA MAN' MOREY!! FATHER KNOWS BEST!! :D
