Shane Battier and Rafer Alston for Baron Davis

I actually think this would be a trade the Clippers want as opposed to the T-Mac one. Thing is, I doubt the Rockets want to part with Shane.

Baron is maybe half-assing it a bit. He can still get in the lane whenever he wants though.

 

But if there is a trade for Baron, ya'll have to remember that he is a 32% 3 point shooter for his career. By the way he is shooting at 27% from the 3 point line this season.

I don't know if this has been discussed yet, I haven't read all the posts, but that is something to consider since in the inside/out game the Rockets play, that's a big part of the offense.


I would think that if there was a trade for Baron, then Alston would be included. I just think the Rockets would be giving up way too much. I figure to get to his salary figures the Rockets would have to part ways with Alston, Head, Landry, and Artest.

Well, I just seem to think that what we have now is a better team - our current team has so much depth right now. They just have to have some consitency and NO MORE T-MAC DRAMA for the rest of the season. Hopefully T-Mac comes back at full strenght next season.

Wade. But I am good with this trade. I just want to win.

 

I dont think morey is doing this trade UNLESS he can ship out tmac. there is no point in trading artest for one big person. We would be in the same place we are now. only two scorers but with less depth. Use your head, I only see this goin down if tracy is involved.

Plus, tracy will only be back around trade deadline next season, IF he is lucky. And the rockets will be shopping him by then so I wouldnt count on seeing tmac in a rockets uniform again.
