As much as I'd like to agree with you on that, go look at the Lakers' forum. "F Kobe", "F Pau", etc etc.
Why not? They did have some good times together. It's not like Yao had a better stretch elsewhere, like on another team, or had along career, or played with better players. When he was healthy, Tmac was probably the best he ever played with.
That surprised me, but mainly because he just recently retired. I would think he'd still feel connected enough to watch. I wonder how long the more recognizable ex-players kept an eye on the team and how often they still do.
You have to consider Yao is still like Michael Jordan, Prince and Michael Jackson combined over there. He still gets media attention and is busy as hell. He is not your average player that retired and sit at home, thinking what to invest on....
i miss having t-mac play without yao. real rockets fans would realize our record was better when t-mac played without yao as opposed to yao playing without t-mac.
Ain't nothing wrong with what he said. I miss those days too. I just wish those days lasted longer. If only DM was our GM right after we acquired T-mac, he would've put a better supporting cast around those 2 during their healthy years with us.
Rocket fans realized that they didn't need McGrady to advance to the 2nd round. They only need World Peace.
Prime T-Mac was so freaking fun to watch, it's too bad we surrounded Yao and him with scrubs the one season they were healthy.
