It's sad it's come to this. He's a professional athlete who makes $21 million a year to play a game and we're talking about one game's worth of effort.
haha, Scola's like the orphan b*stard son of yao and tmac. he puts up 17 rbs and hardly anyone notices.
Landry had 14 pts and 9 reb in 23 min compared to Scola's 36 min. i'm not personally sayin that Carl should start...just that the last sentence in your post is stupid.
Decent effort tonight. Wouldn't be anywhere near as frustrated with him as I have been if we saw this on a routine basis. He knew he couldn't ask out of the game, but Rick really needed to yank him by the 4th.
For some reason Scola gets complained about today. Someone in the game thread said his stats looked good but he was playing like garbage. I don't know how they came to that conclusion.
He tried, that is all I want out of him. You can't put this loss on him, we lost as a team. In other news has any else noticed how great of a facilitator Tracy has been recently? MAKE HIM THE POINT!
Let's see how many points TMac's opponent get...28pts, right? Also when the whole offense is struggling, the so-called "facilitator" doesn't make much sense.
He ended the game going 1 for 11, he went 5 for 15 for the game. How many games in the last two years has he shot right at 30%? A bunch. I only saw the last part of the game and he was barely moving. I don't know if he was on fire in the first half or what, but the numbers suggest he didn't do much except take a bunch of Yao's shots and miss them. It is grim people, real grim. I don't see any 22 game win streak on the immediate horizon.
Guess we all have opinions based upon perspective. I watched the game and wondered why Adelman was playing someone who hobbled up and down the court as the opposition outscored Houston in transition 29-9. Had the whole PHI team not done an incredible impression of Shaq at the line, it would have been really ugly instead of barely tolerable.
Not threadworthy, and an appreciation thread shouldnt be a love thread, but feel how you want.... Will just say its "appreciated" he put in effort, and hopefully it keeps up. Only because we can finally get a true read on what the team's REAL issues are now.
Last time I checked, half of you haters were whining about how Tmac doesn't try and doesn't put forth an effort. Well, tonight he actually did try. 1 decent game is progress. So I say it's worth being optimistic about, because at least he's improving a little bit from before. What did you guys expect? A 28 point game?
