Yet when he does pull himself because he is injured, people call him a quitter.

    It is a lose-lose situation for T-Mac.

Well, like Tracy McGrady said, "It's on me". I'm assuming I can use that reference outside of that underwhelming playoff series against the Jazz?

I love the posts from people who say Tmac sucks and want him traded. If that's the case what garbage would the Rockets get in return for a player like that?

He was 1-10 from the field, and he was clearly hurting the team by playing...not smart for him to play, just like it wasn't for Kobe to play when he pulled his groin vs the Warriors then clanked 4 straight shots in final minutes to allow the Warriors to win.

And besides, from what I heard at halftime the trainer took him out, he didn't "quit."

And if he does "quit" he gets labeled a quitter.

Fans can't have it both ways... its obvious that T-mac is hurt... and it comes at at time when we need him the most.

    Fine.

The problem is that when you are consistently a quitter throughout your career you don't get the benefit of the doubt anymore.

    He did this to himself.

Tmac is fragile, and a poor leader, no denying that.

well... I think that the fans calling him a quitter are thinking of the great ones who played hurt and contributed in other ways when their shots weren't falling

....bring back Bobby Sura, that guy would play with one leg !!!!!!!!

you crazy? who would do that trade? i would even take ben gordon straight up for tmac. but you really think they are this stupid?

tmac has no inspiration, motivation, desire, heart, integrity, love for the game, passion, (insert any positive word here).

T-Mac was playing very well defensively, but he was just too much of an offensive liability to keep him in. The offense just died when he was sub'd in with 5min to go in the 2d.

Despite all of that, T-Mac will always be better than Ben Gordon, an undersized SG who will turn into MIke James for his career.

No way I do that trade.
