Qball nailed it. T-mac has taken such a big fall . It's amazing. He went from being compared to Kobe to being compared to the average fan sitting in the stands, who isn't even good enough the D-league. Next up, he'll be compared to grandmama in the YMCA senior women's league.
did he carry the team when we beat the Blazers ? i don't know about carry, but he can throw people under the bus pretty well.

That was the first favorable matchup we've had, and the deepest team we've had since his tenure here, unfortunately it happened to be the year he came off 2 surgeries and couldn't be himself. To say the team was better without him was fools gold, it looked that way because he was playing injured but anyone with basketball knowlege would know he was the missing piece that year for the team to go beyond just the 1st round.
T-Mac has done a lot for Houston and we should all show our appreciation with some serious clapping! j/k
I don't even understand what lots of posters are arguing about. Sure, TMac didn't win us anything significant, and he's certainly not God. The days before he left wasn't pretty. But, I don't remember the days before any player left Houston Rockets were pretty, even Dream. Which past Rockets player is actively involved in the organization now, except for Clyde? It's all players fault, that Houston Rockets was just that unlucky to get those ungrateful players? Maybe, just maybe it's not traditional that this organization shows enough appreciation to the players, and serious interest in their values to further contribute to this team? Maybe, just maybe, the self-claimed best fans, just like in any other city, some of them never learn to appreciate? Before TMac left, there were ugly moments, there were things he might have regretted saying or doing. But, he did contribute lots of wonderful moments for us fans, and he was certainly a great player. While we always DEMAND our players to be supermen and saints, we don't even bother with some simple decency, as average fans.
if you really think we could have made the playoffs without t-mac in 2005, 2007 and 2008, you're hilarious.
I didn't say that. You are downgrading the Rockets playoff win because it didn't raise any banners. But you praise T-Mac's 13 in 35 and 22 win streak when it didn't result in any either.
It's not much at all. However, it's too much to dismiss all his contribution during all those past years, because of his quitting on the end, IMHO.
i think advancing to the 2nd round was definitely a good accomplishment, but to say that t-mac didn't accomplish ANYTHING as a houston rocket is absolutely ignornant. tinman sincerely believes that t-mac did nothing for the rockets, lol!
