yes. it most certainly is. this is most definitely your best bet. would have, could have, should have.
Yeah you can easily say that dude, but the Dallas series was OURS and T-Mac's legacy as a Rocket and as a NBA player would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much different if Stern did not have an agenda. If I was there I would probably give him a standing O. He and Yao put Rockets basketball back on the map. We were a contender each year he played for us. Was it his fault that Yao went down and we had Deke as starter for the Jazz series? It's funny how people easily forget the good times and remember 1 bad season. I felt like he put it all on the line when he put on a Rockets uniform. If you disagree with this then what do you think about Kevin Martin?
the irony... i go to one rockets game a year - i think ill go to this one and BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO everytime that chump touches the ball. he also gets an F in spelling. im going to show that chump the same "class" and "respect" that he showed the rockets his last couple seasons here - i will BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO his ass everytime he touches the ball and should he look my way i will give him a nice single finger salute.
its even funnier how people easily forget how he took a huge dump on the rockets organization, his teammates and the fans and remember "13 in :35" or "22 game win streak". he certainly put it all on the line in the toronto game...the half court line, where he parked himself on multiple possessions and forced his teammates to go 4 on 5. ask again when martin quits mid-game, calls another team to win the title while the rockets are about to face them and causes the kind of distractions that mcgrady did his last season here.
Again, his knee problems became an issue since playing throughout the 22 win streak and playing throughout the entire season including the playoffs draining his knee, getting shots, etc. His last year as a Rocket was absolutely awful.
He had one bad season, 08-09. The good outweighs the bad. But honestly there is no point of arguing with you because the people who still support McGrady are only TOF's and not Rocket fans.
People wouldn't have a problem with him if he just had a bad season. People have a problem with him getting paid 20 million dollars and quitting in the middle of the game. There is a difference between just having a bad season and quitting in the middle of one.
IN THE WORDS OF YOUNG JEEZY ''STANDING OVATION,STANDING OVATION'' KOBE LEBRON NEVER WON 22 GAMES IN A ROW!!!!!!!!TMAC DID
I support a standing O for Tmac he averaged 28 and 6 and 5 in the playoffs, definitely wasn't his fault also i expect him to score between 10 and 17 off the bench becaus he's done OK scoring against his former's ... but yes A standing O
It all boils down to standards, no way in hades would I give the man a standing ovation, he has not earned it. If you feel he should then by all means stand up......not me, the guy didn't earn it. A polite clap. DD
JUST THE 13 IN 35 SECONDS,THE SHAWN BRADLEY DUNK,AND THE 22 GAME WIN STREAK SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR A STANDING O! EVERY TIME TMAC PLAYED I HAD HOPE AND KNEW WE HAD A CHANCE TO WIN! NOW LOOK AT US WERE ARE WE GOING
