They was talking about this just now on ESPN...it's funny how some guys have no clue about the team they are talking about.

Mashburn said we had no shot at making the playoffs without Tmac...because when the game matters you need guys who can put the ball in the hole...and Tmac has been that guy for us..

Shocking news to me, when games matter I seem to remember a certain guy bricking these shots to win the game...In fact I remember Wafer hitting a big shot to beat the Celts...and I remember Tmac missing WIDE OPEN SHOTS...more than one...to lose games...

T-mac don't disappointment us.. you should just come off the bench man.. play like 15 minutes a game or something .. just be there at least for your fans and team mates..

I really dont understand this guy .I remenber clearly he said he wont take surgery absolutely. But now he changes his idea.No matter what he thought he always like to make us surprise. This is really a elusive guy.Maybe he is to more suitable for a pop star not a b-ball player.

his mind is very peculiar...not in a bad way, just really different from the norm.. like his basketball talent.

Man, this has completely soured me on McGrady. I understand he's doing what's best for himself, but the way he's going about doing it is pretty despicable.

I can see he's completely earned the nickname "Me-Mac." Can't wait until he comes back and plays well again, so we can trade this guy.

    Without TMAC, Rafer's numbers are:

13.5 PPG on .376 shooting (he still shoots badly)
6.4 APG (as expected higher given he controls the rock more)

The Rockets are 12-7 without McGrady where Rafer starts the offense.

Without McGrady, and WITH Artest the Rockets are 8-3.

    Artest steps up to:

20.3 PPG on .414 shooting, but .495 shooting in last 7 games w/o McGrady)
    4.1 APG

When both McGrady and Artest were out together the Rockets went 4-4, with Von Wafer going for:

    17.5 PPG on .483 shooting

We'll be fine with Artest & Wafer. Beats McGimpy

Sporting news is reporting T-mac for Baron Davis could be in the works. Clippers want davis to move on and they could use T-Macs expiring contract:)

this is what i would do and what morey should do

out of spite, just ruin tmacs career next year...when tmac is done with 1 year of rehabbing next year, do NOT release him and do NOT trade him to a team of his choice...he is not kobe..he has no say..

do NOT play him next year...even if the rockets play horrible next year, i wouldnt bring him back just out of spite

and, if you do trade him ,make sure its to a sh!!ty team

I highly doubt he will be back.
It seems like he has just totally given up on the game of basketball.
He probably will try to make a run at minor league baseball somewhere.

Based on the Clutch report that he didn't even bother to tell Adelman about his surgery decision, but told ESPN, I think I have had it with T Mac and was wrong to give him the benefit of the doubt. Even if injured as I still assume, what a bs thing to do.

No member has mentioned that there is another possibility................
Tracy McGrady has been made aware that the Rockets are going to try in 2010 to get another Super Star, which would mean that Tracy's career with the Rockets is over. Possibly he was still hoping that he would get another fat contract and his poor play this season is telling him that he just cant play at a high level any more. With all of this in mind possibly he is almost going off the deep end and making irrational decisions. :p
There must be a logical explaination for what is going on......................
The truth will be told soon..........It might surprise you!! :p

He basically quits Rockets, just like he did for Magics. Some things never change. He's probably the worst player in Rockets' history by his selfish behavior (even worse than Pippen)
