Best wishes and a speedy full recovery to TMac. I know a lot of you label him she-mac and whatever else. Yeah, he's been injury prone for the last few years, but i dont think the guy wants to be injured. Injuries are part of the game. Its obvious he hasnt played up to his potential this year and I take the man at his word that his knee isnt right. Ive had a serious knee injury, so I know that the only person that can say the knee is good is Tmac himself. MRI's dont tell you how it feels, only what it looks like.

Im not ready to say Tmac is finished either. I hope he comes back stronger and more driven than ever. Those that say we are better without him are living in fantasy land. Losing Tracy is a serious blow to our playoff aspirations.

I hope we dont trade anyone and that we re-sign Artest. Giving up Landry and Brooks would be a bad mistake, refer to Horry and Cassell.

is this gonna be the new tmac thread? i posted this in the other thread, but i'll put it here too.

matt jackson just said if mcgrady does not play next year, we can use half of his salary, so around 12 million, to sign somebody for next season. is this true?

if so, that gives us some nice cap room to sign some decent players, maybe resign von wafer.

i don't know if this is some medical insurance thing, can anybody clarify? is this a darius miles situation? if so, we need to keep him and sit his ass all season. he's gonna rehab (poorly) anyway and not be ready till way down the line next year.

t-mac's best years are behind him. the guy hasnt been a star for 2 years now. there's no way he's coming back from microfrature. he doesnt have the will or heart to make a come back.

i think somehow some way Morey will work a miracle and trade Tmac before the deadline.....I am praying for this....maybe some team will take his expeiring contract a year early to get out of a bigger contract...ie Baron Davis

I just heard the best news ever T-Mac out for the season. that just made my day i don't have to worry about hearing about how he might be back this day or that day. who needs him maybe just the bench so he can keep it clean since that is where he spends the majority of the time. trade T-mac. i will take anything cheetos, skittles even some stamps and a bum to be named later anything is better that this scrub.

Yep. That's true, I've heard it on both 610 and 790 the past few days. That would be the worst case scenario (which actually, wouldn't be so bad for us lol)

Yeah, no kidding. Adelman is pissed off. I can't blame him, but he deserves some blame to for not taking control of the team earlier this year.

    Gee Wiz,

I dont understand why so many are sad???

This guy gave a "press conference" whining about how his knee hurts then ran off to Vegas. He was boozing and partying while you T-Wuss groupies were crying tears for his "pain".

Then he shuts it down for the year around 1 a.m. in the morning without saying a word to the Rockets, "coincidentally" when there were serious talks about shipping his sorry a** off to Jersey.

This guy by far is the biggest BUST that this organization has ever been involved with!

This clown isn't even worthy of wearing the uniform.

Quit Crying for T-Wac because he sure as h*** aint crying for you!!

Adelman has every reason to be pissed. I actually feel sorry for Adelman this year. I don't think he's been given a fair shake and I'm actually surprised we have done as well as we have with this circus sideshow going on.

I really think Tracy has played his last days in a Rocket uniform. Microfracture surgery, by all accounts, sounds like a tremendously difficult procedure to come back from both mentally and physically. It's the mental part of the rehab that I don't have a lot of confidence in when it comes to t-mac. Dude has made more excuses than anyone and mentally doesn't have the mentality of a superstar. What in the world is there to give us hope that he's going to go 6-8 hours a day for almost a year in rehab??

Ha, the stuff from Adelman is the juiciest part. He's pissed. Can't say I blame him.

McGrady announcing it on his blog instead of through his team was a classless punkish move.

If I ran the Rockets I would be furious at him for doing it.....very low class move on his part.

There are clear motivations involved though....no doubt about it....

I mentioned this in another thread--I agree that McGrady is wrong here, but how many times have you seen players say, "I didn't know I got traded until I saw it on ESPN!" It works both ways I suppose...
