Durvasa, is it even possible to play with a knee that needs micro fracture knee surgery? I've been asking myself that for a couple of days now, and I really think he'll be back playing after the trade deadline.

There is no such thing as T7 and never will be. The terms T1 and T2 go much deeper than strength of the field and quality of signal.

They are descriptions of how the basic function of the MRI works. Also I would like to point out that you are off on T2 is for this and T1 is for that. That may be true in NMR spec but MRI is just making a picture, not studying molecules. The more info the better for MRI.

It just makes me sick to see all of the people on here who are T-Mac fans when he is playing well but criticize the hell outta him when he's down. He's done alot for the Rockets (yes- I know he hasn't gotten us outta the first round but neither has Yao- and I'm an even bigger Yao fan). I agree he has disappeared at times too but as a whole, I think he's under-appreciated.

HORSE CRAP...the guy took a dump on the entire franchise and organization.

    Underappreciate?

The guy is a slacking prima donna, who is more concerned with how he looks to his fans than winning basketball games.

Simply put, the guy is a flat out LOSER !!

    T-Mac actually requires 3 surgeries:
    1. microfracture surgery.
    2. heart surgery.
    3. brain surgery.

You would rather have Maggette or Hinrich or Davis or Miller? All of them have been hurt as much as T-Mac this season. Davis is shooting 35% this season and has a HUGE contract. At least with T-Mac, we get his salaray coming off the books in another year and then we can get a legit HEALTHY star.

i didnt even see that article and that comment by mcgrady that further incenses me....to think that i bought two of the guy's jerseys and two of his shoes.

i really hope that the rockets a) trade him

or b) bench him for the rest of this season and next season so he cant play aka Marbury him

I said 7T, not T7. 7 Tesla magnet. Which I work with (not for clinical use - I don't know if there are clinical systems above a 3T). Re-read my post. And I'm not off on T2 for this and T1 for that. Different weighting leads to different images, with different tissue types becoming apparent. Most of the time you will have an MR series with a T1 map followed by a T2 image, but you don't get just one single image with everything thrown in.

Not with the Salary cap dropping dramatically next year and the following as well.

Well, T1 is not specifically for one thing and T2 is not specifically for one thing, but emjohn is right in that certain tissues show up better on t1 vs t2 and vice versa. Any radiologist will tell you that (and neurologist for that matter).
