This poll will close on 01-16-2009 at 08:01 AM?!?!?!?! You will let people vote in this poll LATE? I assumed at first that you meant to have closed the poll BEFORE tonight's game, didn't you? How could you let LATE PARTICIPATION in it?

Must you make such "Let's see how BAD this guy is" polls to gain nothing? What does this make of us? Freakin' cannibals, that's what. I can't believe some die-hards participate in this treachery. :(

You obviously are drunk or high. The first game that counts towards this game is on 01-17-2009 (when the Rockets play Miami at home) which by the way is about 36 hours after the polls close.

So who is the cannibal now that doesn't know how to read?

Wow. Look. I made a mistake. So I missed a date. Oh, man. So I thought tonight's game counted in your VERY IMPORTANT POLL WHICH WILL PROVE SO MUCH AND CONTRIBUTE SO MUCH. Whoo-dee-freakin' doo.

STFU with your senseless polls. Do you really need to have "a poll to make it exciting" to contribute financially to the site?!?!? Give me a @)*&@#$(*)&$ break.

I made my point about this thread WAY back. Regardless of when the voting starts or ends, this poll is a travesty to anyone calling themselves ClutchFans...

EDIT (I wasn't completely clear at first) : Out of the 90 voters at the time of this post, only 7 members have IDs of less than 8000, the time I and others around here consider to be the BOOM of the ClutchFans' era (around 2001) and after we signed Yao. These are TMAC haters and, above all, the ones who contribute to bashing ONE PLAYER, instead of cheering the entire team: THE HOUSTON ROCKETS.

Correction: I was obviously drunk if you count TWO CORONAS as enough. And YOU'RE still a cannibal. :p

p.s. where is YOUR vote, mister confident? I hope TMac AND THE ROCKETS teach you a lesson.

After what I saw in Philly, I can't put is all on T-Mac.

Look we expect T-Mac to do EVERYTHING. Last night he had to dribble the ball the full court (in the 2nd half) and than do something on his own to get this team points, and it wasn't an open 3 or jumper, nobody was hitting NOTHING. It had to be a DUNK.

Rick really makes Tracy and Yao look like bad role players. He is not getting them the ball. He thinks Tracy is Steve Nash. It is freaking unbelivable.

As for T-Mac, right now he can make two decisions:

    1) If you can't play the entire game like you played in the 1st quater against Philly (look to score, not pass) than SIT OUT

    2) Take over. I mean, don't be a playmaker. Score, score, score.

No problem... I make mistakes all the time and I hope that my post didn't offend you as my intentions were not such.

ha...ha... you're rude! In my point of view this poll has a purpose. This poll is a way for me to say thanks to Clutch and crew for creating such a wonderful site and giving me fond memories since 2001. Yes, I joined in 2001 before you but I don't carry this air of arrogance as if my d!ck is bigger than anyone else. I live and die by these original clutchcity motto:

    <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/OEkeT6_-H0V1yi_hf6lfJw?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_8u4A05PwTfw/SWS8Hcj7YBI/AAAAAAAABNQ/bHM7Oaafj5w/s400/clutchcity_cool_banners.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/jsmee2000/Pictures?feat=embedwebsite">Pictures</a></td></tr></table>

Back in 2003, right after I was diagnosed with cancer and I was going through chemotherapy, I had trouble remembering things and I change all my accounts and monikers to jsmee2000 to make it easy on me. A few months later the site went through a re-design and a new name Clutchfans. During that time, I didn't post much but I definitely read the boards religiously.

On a further, it is because of clutchfans that I have met wonderful fans like levintblack, MONON, pirc1 in person even though I live in Illinois. Also, because of clutchfans I have been able to attend Rockets game and sit next to Rockets fans instead of fans of the opposing home team. In fact, I am going to the Pacers game this month and will be sitting next to three Rockets fans, and in February I will be at the Milwaukee game three seats behind the Rockets bench and in the upper bowl for the Bulls game with 35 other fans that I put together using CF.net.

I am tired of the knee jerk and T-Mac bashing threads just like anyone else. So what I am doing is using these posters weakness as a method to increase the funds available to Clutch and crew. Unfortunately, many of those posters are non-committal which means that they are probably 10 years old!

I am a fan of the Rockets no matter what. I own Sampson, Olajuwon rookie cards. I have every Rockets basketball card available from 1982 until 2000. I have the VHS tapes of Clutch City championship years. I cried when the Rockets won their championship. I own Christmas ornaments with the Rockets old school logo and the PJ logo. I even have two T-Mac jerseys and I intend to wear mine in support of him when I go the the Pacers game on the 23rd of this month. What's the point? What do I have to prove?

My point is that it is easy to bash people on the internet without knowing the facts.

I created the game and I am awarding the prize so it wouldn't make sense for me to play. However, if I had to choose one of the options, I would have chosen the max number of games of nine (9) because I always have hope and will never give up on any of the players as long as they bear a Rockets uniform. I believe that the Rockets will win every game no matter what. Why? Because I love them and I am proud of them no matter what.

Well spoken, sir. But your poll STILL STINKS. I'm done. You can defend as much as you want from now on.

It doesn't make a difference whether he gives the money or doesn't, but thank you for your input. I know he doesn't have to vote. NO ONE HAS TO.

Is it FUN to vote on a player falling short?!?!? What's the principle behind that? Vote on days it will rain next week... or, I tell you what: if I wear bikinis, briefs, boxers, or a thong tomorrow... now THAT would be fun...

But a POLL at TMac's playing expense...?!?!? Just to see how much he 'sucked' during this bet? C'mon, now. Y'all have sunk LOW.

this reminds me of the 22 inch rims contest that was destined for failure-

when posters make the rules of contests and polls, someone is bound to fail to live up to their end of the bargain.

THE GAME: Pick the number of games (0-9) where T-Mac will score 15 points (his avg as of today) or more in the following games:
    Code:
    [INDENT]
Sat 17 vs Miami = DNP
Mon 19 vs Denver = DNP
Wed 21 vs Utah = DNP
    Fri 23 @ Indiana = DNP
    Sun 25 @ Detroit = 15
    Mon 26 @ New York = 20
    Wed 28 vs Philadelphia = 24
Sat 31 vs Golden State = DNP
    Tue 03 vs Chicago = 16
    [/INDENT]
The correct answer was four (4) games. The winner (chosen randomly by using a Matlab program) is RocketsHero. I will donate $25 to the TIPJAR on his behalf.

For those of you that played, please honor your commitment so that this site can stay special and the best fan board or bulletin board system. If you can not cough up the money because of the though economic times...no big deal...we forgive you! If you can here is what you have to pay:
    Code:
    If you chose 3 or 5 games = $7
    If you chose 2 or 6 games = $8
    If you chose 1 or 7 games = $9
    If you chose 8 games = $10

    Thanks for playing. Enjoy,

    jsmee2000

PS. Would you guys be interested in holding a fundraiser for Deke's charity through Clutchfans? Kind of a special thanks for joining the Rockets when he had other options. What do you guys think?
