That dude can't guard Jamario Moon, how is going to guard Rondo?

if the lakers are gonna trade for bosh/amare, theyd most likely trade bynum than gasol. bynum's had surgery on his knees already and gets injured all the time. gasol's the better player and has been relatively injury free.

and why would LA not sign tmac especially let's say for the vet min? tmac > la bench even when he's physically limited. if he's played for 14-20mins a game off the bench, he'd be effective for those minutes.

    agree.

T-mac doesnt even have to move with the offense, he just has stay at the corner 3 and no team will dare to leave him uncovered. unlike ron.

And Artest is too slow now, He can guard somebody who posts him up. But once you have a guy like pierce who has a high release, artest will struggle.

I'm curious what the board thinks about McGrady for next year just in general.

Where does he end up, how long of a contract, how much $?

To a contending side, for the minimum-$3M, just to prove he can get out of the first round.

He might have to retire, unless he regains fitness and health.

He may help a team but it won't be at PG. The Knicks tried him at PG for a few games, scrapped the experiment and went back to Douglas, Duhon and Rodriguez. TMac is not a FT PG, he doesn't have the handle for the position, he can give you a few minutes at the position but any longer and defenders take the ball away from him like candy from a baby.

It would be hella fun watching MerGady and Ron take turns imposing their will on the court.

If McGrady could get himself together I could see this happening, the lakers are not getting bosh for bynum, and they will have to sign over the hill vets who might be able to provide some scoring punch.

Bosh is either going to join wade or lebron or the bulls imo.

It would be funny that Tmac is standing on one corner asking for the ball for the three and Ron Artest is standing in the other corner asking for the ball to shooting the three.

Then you can triple Kobe and he has to pass it to one of them, to see how the miss the 3-pointer. :)

Not that it matters one iota but no. Besides why should anyone give a **** what T-McLazy can or cannot do? The dude's washed up. The dude may be the greatest "never was" (not even a "has been") in the history of the Rockets franchise.

If McGrady signs with the Lakers, I could not be more happier.

Sign Artest for 5 years? Then sign McGrady?

    Please do. Go right ahead.

Actually, he does have the handles, ball control and court vision for the position. The problem is his speed on offense and defense. There is no way McGrady will keep up with any of the PG in this league at this stage.

or he passes to Tmac on the breakaway dunk and he gets rejected by the rim.
Ron Artest falls to the ground laughing, while Jamario Moon picks up the loose ball and scores on the other end. In the background, Jack Nicholson laughs like he was playing the Joker again in Batman.

Kobe gets angry and Phil Jackson puts in Derek Fisher for Tmac.
on the bench, Lamar Odom offers Tracy some Skittles.
Tmac announces that he's almost 100%.

Later Mike Tyson comes up to Tracy and says that they are making a sequel to the Hangover and wants Tracy to be in it cause he's a Vegas icon and regular.

Tracy goes to Vegas, sees Antoine Walker. Walker asks him what's up and Tracy says he plays for the Lakers. Antoine immediately runs to the sports book and immediately bets the Lakers won't get past the first round.
