that is an option I can vote for. Agree with both you and Sherlock. btw folks....you can vote for a thread without posting, so if you are unable to vote on the poll cause of its stupid choices, be sure to vote with your rating.....one star all the way baby.
The majority of people on this board are not still undecided, unless you count the lurkers. The vast majority of the posters here have made up their minds, one way or the other.
no....they havent. there is maybe less than a 100 names that I see over and over.....you are one of the most vocal...we have well over 10K active members....you do the math.
Actually I assumed that this board has over 30K members given my member ID. Obviously the vast majority of them don't post, which is why I qualified my statement to exclude the lurkers. There's no way of telling what their opinions are. But I'll stand by my previous statement. Of the folks that do post the vast majority of them aren't in the middle. They've made up their minds one way or the other.
R2K......if you would be so kind as to add a "Present" option, I would be most appreicative. An alternative to voting in a thread that you don't like the options would be not to click on it...or ignore it. This was meant to be a fun thread......with voting anonymity...nothing more. There is a solution to all the back and forthing though (lord knows I am way guilty of that)........all the moderates should post more often and ignore the hotheads. Of course if the people arguing stop posting, do you think the board would thrive as much? Getting as many page views, to drive traffic and revenue? Anyway, I post far too fricken much and argue too much..that will change soon. DD
Couldn't agree more. It's sad that when someone tries to make a statement about TMAC doing something positive (past, present, or future) they are ripped for being an "apologists".
I support all the Rockets. No favorites. Ok maybe Steve but he is long gone now. I like focusing on the positive aspects of this team instead of harping on the negatives and gossiping about rumors. You'll rarely see me talk bad about this team or anybody on the team. I just don't see the point in being so angry and negative about the team. I watch the Rockets because Its 2hrs where I can get some peace and serenity. Why should I spend that time b****ing and whining about our players? We could go 0-82 and I'd still watch every game and support them as if we were 82-0. Call me weird, but that is just me.
I would call anyone here on the board supporting the Rockets a good fan, just different perspectives in how they cheer for the team. DD
Well, then the majority aren't posting. There's way too many drama threads but they seem to be very popular. Threads discussing anything relevant, in regards to actual basketball, tend to fall off the first page in favor of the 'grrr, i hate the way Mcgrady ____' or 'Hey guys, lay off T-mac' threads filled with useless arguments and childish bickering.
You ever had the animal style fries? I got asked if I wanted that for the first time awhile ago. Didn't even know what it was.
thats not true at all. I'm fed up with Alston as much as I am with Grady. Maybe even a lil more fed up with Alston.
That's one way of looking at it. But all of this T-Mac controversy has produced more insider info on this board than all of last season. It's definitely got me more interested than at any time in the past. Granted the news isn't good news but I find it pretty fascinating none the less.
I also enjoy the drama of it all, but some people do not, they would rather enjoy just watching the team and cheering, I can understand that.... And if I were that type, all the muck and mire of the GARM would bug me too.... Not sure what there is to do about it.....I think it may come down to personal responsibility and ignoring threads and or posters you do not like. DD
