Cat is a better player than Wally. Wally is a third option at best on offense and we will not be better off with him. Question for you Wally fans. Let's say the Pups had Cuttino instead of Wally, would they have been better off in the playoffs? The answer in my opinion would be yes. They probably would not of beat the Mavericks but they would of shown better.

I would not want Wally on this team.

Though their values on the open market should be close, I personally would not trade Cat for Wally. Minnesotta sure would be a lot tougher if we did (probably on both ends) and Cat's shooting would be at a higher %.

I would trade KT and our #14/#15 for him though, though I would imagine the Wolves would want our lower pick which then I would not do. Besides, KT belongs in the East anyway. Maybe a 3-way could work as follows though.

Houston trades: PF Jason Collier (4.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.4 apg in 14.6 minutes) PF Kenny Thomas (14.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 34.5 minutes) PLUS 14/15 pick plus #38 (via Miami) Houston receives: SG Wally Szczerbiak (18.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.1 apg in 38.0 minutes)

Orlando trades: SF Pat Garrity (11.1 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.2 apg in 30.1 minutes) SG Jeryl Sasser (1.4 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.3 apg in 5.1 minutes) PLUS 18th pick Orlando receives: PF Jason Collier (4.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.4 apg in 25 games) PF Kenny Thomas (14.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 72 games) + #38

Minnesota trades: SG Wally Szczerbiak (18.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.1 apg in 38.0 minutes) Minnesota receives: SF Pat Garrity (11.1 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.2 apg in 80 games) SG Jeryl Sasser (1.4 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.3 apg in 7 games) PLUS 14/15 pick from Houston and the #18 pick from Orlando.

TRADE ACCEPTED (Minnesotta is still looking for draft picks right? They get two mid-level #1's plus a spot up shooting forward. Orlando immediately upgrades their PF spot (KT would do fine against most EC 4s). Houston gets very good offensive SF.

    OR

Houston trades: PF Kenny Thomas (14.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 34.5 minutes) PF Jason Collier (4.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.4 apg in 14.6 minutes) PLUS #14/#15 + #38 Houston receives: SG Wally Szczerbiak (18.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.1 apg in 38.0 minutes)

Minnesota trades: SG Wally Szczerbiak (18.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.1 apg in 38.0 minutes) Minnesota receives: SG Michael Redd (11.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.4 apg in 67 games) C Greg Foster (1.2 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.2 apg in 6 games) PLUS #14/#15 + #13

Milwaukee trades: SG Michael Redd (11.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.4 apg in 21.1 minutes) C Greg Foster (1.2 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.2 apg in 4.0 minutes) PLUS #13 Milwaukee receives: PF Kenny Thomas (14.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 72 games) PF Jason Collier (4.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.4 apg in 25 games) + #38

    TRADE ACCEPTED
Similar as before, but now Minn gets a young poor mans Wally (Redd) and the last lotto plus 1st or 2nd non-lotto. Milwalkee sheds some of their excess depth of offensive oriented swingmen while getting a solid moble EC PF so they then can go about dumping the plodding offense killing Mason on someone else.

Cat stays. Period. We don't want Wally anymore. He's a d!ckhole. Let Minnesota trade him to the East.

If we went for Wally, it'd take our lottery pick, for starters.

Wally and Cat on the same team? Hell, you think Garnett doesn't like Wally, pair him off with Mobes.

    Nope, nope, nope.
