I don't really care if everyone hates America, they just need to get the same freedoms that we enjoy.

It is ironic, America is the least pushy superpower in world history, has anyone else won wars over other nations and given them their soverignty(Sp?) back?

Freedom and peace are not related unless everyone has the same values. What you call peace might not be peace to someone else. What you call freedom might not be freedom to someone else.

Also, America offers conditional sovereignty, not sovereignty. Every superpower in history has offered conditional sovereignty.

America is constantly at war either directly or indirectly with some other country and, without fail, those are the countries which don't adhere to ..(wait for it).. America's conditions for sovereignty. That's a novel concept, huh? I'm not sure how you determined that America is relatively not pushy and wins wars by offering sovereignty more frequently? Frankly that's proposterous.

FWIW, I don't think any government that I know of would behave differently if put in America's place. Does that make America exceptionally free and peaceful? I don't think so. I think it's purely a matter of options and circumstances.

hmmmm, i'm sure some will question its legitimacy, and it's ok to be cautious. but i agree with the sentiment.

And the moment President Obama were to (theoretically) pledge NATO support to Syria as in Libya, all of those words on basso's shoop would be reversed.
