Greene has plenty of tallent. Greene has plenty of confidence.

Greene's attitude will determine his fate.

Adelman isn't harping on him already for nothing, and anyone with his size and ability that can't average 6-7 rebounds in 30+ minutes of play is slacking and that is fact. These guys he was playing against aren't hayes or scola who would have both made him their b!tch.

Most of this is because the majority of people at Syracuse hate him since he left them after one year.

They liked him so much they wanted him to stay, but now they hate him cause he left.

There's a difference between confidence, and not knowing how good you really are.

Green apparently thinks he's better than he really is. This is dangerous, because he's not THAT good. And that needs to be straightened out.

Sure, Green has a lot of god-given talent, but as has been mentioned, so does every other player in the NBA. That's why they're in the NBA... because they're GOOD.

Hopefully Green realizes just how much he has to improve if he wants to stick. And that includes rebounding, passing, playing defense, moving without the ball, etc. Things that even superstars on this level must do to win.

Guess what, I think he's pretty good too. Not that, that matters I'm just tryin to say, some people don't know what it takes to get to star level which I am expecting Donte to reach within a few years.

It's that swag that some people have bout themselves, you don't see the Tmacs, Kobes, Lebrons, or even Jordans doubting themselves or saying man I suck. They have that "thing" that seperates the players from the stars.

I'm not sayin that the kid is a star now just that he has talent and he knows it, he knows that he has plenty of skills that need work before he gets with the big boys. He's just hungry and hey.... can you blame him?

So if you hate Luther would you be mad if he got traded?
I'd imagine you would be dancing. If Donte sucked, Syracuse fans would be dancing upon learning that he was going to leave. Instead, they're bitter and hate him.

The quotes from Adelman imply a lack of work ethic, which is a huge issue, rather than an attitude problem.

Yeah I'm with you man. Get it together Gerald!

Oh you were talking about Donte? How freaking hard is it to remember that it's spelled "Greene"? I can understand if it's from ESPN or something but isn't ClutchFans a place for dedicated Rockets fans?

Mutombo jokes stop being funny around 2002...it's like a comedian who keeps telling a joke that is about 400 years old.

Exactly how many 20-year-old kids do you know who are heading into a situation like this could you label as deferential, respectful and aware of their place? I'd rather him be confident and determinded. Of course there is such thing as over confident. Hopefully he's got the right balance.
