So happy about this series! One of my favorite recent book series from Lev Grossman. Great series of books. They had a series preview on last night. The title is not doing this series any favors. This was much much better than I thought it was going to be. Syfy has turned a corner; a lot of good stuff coming out over there.
I really enjoyed the first book. Tried reading the second and kind of lost interest and never got back to it. Really excited for the TV series if its faithful to the first book. For anyone that's interested its basically a mature combination of Harry Potter, LotR, and Chronicles of Narnia all wrapped together.
I thought the show was going to be a reality series. When I found out it was going to be a series I thought it was going to be a lot campier all because of the title.
I just watched the first ep, it was pretty good. It was definitely better than expected and it kept me engaged. It has been added to sonarr.

Another great episode! As a fan of the book series, I haven't been upset about any modifying of the story so far. The pace of the story is moving right along so far. And as they get into Fillory things will really pickup.
