But that's all you're going to get from him. You're only going to get that 18 in 33, because he can't stay on the court for too long because of offensive fouls, free throw issues, stamina, defensive issues, etc.

Whereas a single-teamed Wade can stay on the court for 45 minutes and seemingly effortlessly get his 45.

And stepping into my Bulls fanboy mode, I have to say that it was a lot more demoralizing watching Wade shake free in the fourth quarter for a couple of those games, and nail those 18 footers with Hinrich in his face. When Shaq went off in Games 1 and 6, it was pretty "ho hum."

Thats whats under rated about Shaq's game....he is a cause/effect center. He will put your team foul troubled thus stagnating offensive and defensive schemes! I wish Yao could put other teams in foul trouble then he would be unstoppable.

Yeah, maybe if Yao was a worse FT shooter he would have teams employ the hack-a-Yao. :p

Ya, its pretty much the perfect analogy. I'm glad someone decided to write about how awkward it was seeing Shaq grap the trophy, and David Stern not letting go, I wish I could have been there to here what must have been said.

As for the rest on Shaq, its true he has a huge ego, but its part of what made him great, unfortantly Simmons is right, he just doesn't quite care enough about basketball to get into really great shape.
