No doubt. It's been hard for me and my wife to get in the Christmas spirit this year because it's been so damn HOT!
Yeah I got talked into helping a friend move into their new place and I was sweating my balls off. Had to Crank that A/C up at my house.
This weather is GREAT! I'm smoking some chicken and ribs over pecan wood as we speak! TEXAS BARBECUE IN DECEMBER BABY!!!!
You Texans are never happy. There was a thread not too long ago complaining about the cold and now you guys are complaining about the heat. Sheesh...
i went swimming in barton springs today. for the record, i wasnt complaining when it was cold - i like it.
I like the winter more than summer.. the Texas summer heat is just too much sometimes. I'm loving the weather from the past 2 weekends, I spent all of it outside playing ball. I even went today. I think I might go tanning tomorrow.
The heat sucks. But what sucks even more is that there's still a really bad mosquito problem outside. It hasn't been cold enough to kill them off this year.
Man I don't even remember having a mosquito problem at ALL this year.. what a good year for me in terms of that. I remember last summer there were mosquitos and flies all over the place. Has Houston become... cleaner???
I'm inside the loop, near the heights. The skeeters have been just as bad a last year. And they're not going away.
