Sounds like a we have reasonable smart leaders in power weighing all the costs before doing something? What a surprise

If it is determined to just be weather technology, then would our government tell us the truth or cover it up to save face?

This whole incident has shown China something that we aren't discussing here. How galvanized we can get as Americans when we have a common enemy aka China. This thread probably the most respectful thread in the D&D as it's mostly anti China.

If China attacks one of our bases before invading taiwan they will be making the worst decision possible. This is the ideal thing that americans would want as it would the nation together against China. Trumpers and democrats will come together in seconds to go up against China..

People very concerned about this spy balloon, posting angry tweets from their own personal spy devices.

Snowflakes going to snowflake I guess.

hmmm, I guess this “civilian balloon” didn’t just take the wrong street and magically end up in the United States like China claimed

Why are the Chinese so concerned about the weather in the US?

I wonder how mangled the payload is? Is it going to be in bits where they send down divers to recover by hand? Or, are we talking robot diver recovery here? Maybe a little of both? Or, maybe the grappling hook?

I don't belive you. @basso has Top Secret clearance in Call of Duty and he has already informed us a patriotic Montanan spotted this balloon first.

It wasn't random balloons. It was part of a specially designed system for getting film back to earth from a very specific satellite and catching at low altitude. The system would have been worthless for this big ass balloon. And it was made obsolete by digital communications.
