That's technology. Of course they will come out with new devices in a year, if they don't they will be left in the dust. The minute you buy a piece of technology it is obsolete... hell, the minute it hits store shelves it is obsolete. You have to ask yourself, is it worth the investment for yourself? Will it accomplish the tasks you need it to in a price range that is affordable to you? Trust me, I buy new cell phones, and buy newer ones a few months later. I bought the Surface RT, just to buy the Pro three months later. I know the curse of technology being outdated. My first PC I bought piece by piece in 1998, and when I bought the final piece (the CPU) my original piece (the hard drive) had dropped by 50% in price... about six weeks. I spent $2700 on that 200MHz. AMD K6 processor with 32GB or RAM, a 2.1GB hard drive machine. Meanwhile a buddy of mine built a 266MHz. Pentium with 64MB of RAM and a 4GB hard drive just two months later, for around $2000 (Intel literally ran circles around AMD at that time). Long story short, if you are going to wait for the best deal, you'll never have a piece of technology worth a damn. I, like every other consumer or the market is cursed with this. It is the beauty and pain of being a gadget w****. Wish I would have read your response first, would have saved myself time, lol.
