Well, they will say that's the reason why Sura broke his finger.;)

I won't be too down if JVG allow Barrett to take Sura's place. But if we have to depend on Rod Strickland or Jon Barry to run the point then we might be trouble.

I have no problem with Barry running the point. The only concern is his defense in stopping the other pg from penetrating.

I think they would probably put Wesley on the opposing PG. They have been doing this even with Sura in the lineup. Wesley was guarding Wade and Bibby in the past 2 games. Even though Wesley is strong and wont get posted up on, he is not quick enough to handle point guards that are as fast as those two. Bibby and Wade killed us the past two games and I dont see this problem getting any better when we play teams that have good PGs. Luckly for us neither Boston or Phili have PGs that can score and pass the way that Bibby and Wade do.

Thanks. I thought I saw Sura shooting free throws with his left hand, but maybe I'm confusing him with someone else.

without Sura the Rockets are going to get killed on the boards, this will be a huge blow if he can't play

Well, the Rockets NEED to start seriously looking at available PGs around the league they can pick up with the TE. Whether he is hurt or not, he is not the answer for sure. I love his energy and toughness, and his assist/TO ratio is good, but his SG mentality kills the team at times. When Sura makes a conserted effort at creating shots for others, especially Yao and TMac, he is pretty good. But, if he ever gets on an offensive roll, his team then comes second it seems.

    Look guys. . .
you have to remember. . Sura was only holding
down the position until we get Charlie Ward back

Charlie should be back in a few weeks ,. .
we just need to use the three man rotation
    until then . .

    then we will be ok

As i remember YOF is Yao ONLY Fan which means you can't also be a Houston or Rockets ONLY Fan, ONLY implies ONE thing

YOF implies you only follow and support Yao, which is ridiculous considering Basketball is a TEAM sport and not an individual event like Tennis or Golf.

To make matters worse YOF then think it is ok to criticise members of Yao's team he plays for if somehow they impact on Yao's performance...

It's a fricken team game get over it guys, if not stop bothering us and go support some swimmer or diver or golfer or tennis player..

More importantly how many of you have actually played the game?

Do you realise everytime a rockets player tries to feed/pass the ball to Yao there is at least two opposition player also involved so it is not as easy as it appears.... there is someone defender the passer who is working really hard to deflect the pass or even steal it and then there is also a defender on the all-mighty Yao who is battling really hard and often is smaller and with a lower centre of gravity and is able to push Yao out of position and is also reaching around with their lumbs to try to deflect or steal the pass and that is not even if the defender is trying to front Yao, which makes the pass even harder. And then don't forget Yao is 7"6' and a great focus of our offense such that there are usually one or two help defenders ready to pounce of post feeds or get great doubles on Yao when he catches the ball......

If you are still convinced your dillusions of Yao's teammates are deliberately not passing to Yao (even though all the players with have added all talked about how they were looking forward to playing with Yao and how important it is to have a inside outside game to win in the NBA), then show us proof, make a video clip of the incident and show us and we can decide rather than take the opinion of a fan supporting one player who is part of a TEAM game. Or if you can't make a clip then count the number of times players do pass to Yao and then count your stupid number of times players don't pass to Yao (for whatever inane conspiracy theory reason) and what you will find (i have done this) is Yao gets passes from his teammates plenty of times......

Actually, it was more Ward holding down the position until Sura got back.

Sooo, did Sura get those X-Rays that some news articles were talking about? Anyone know? Hopefully the results are negative.

Boy, I hope he is not out for a while, if so, then I think we are screwed big time, we will all know how important he is to this team if he goes time for a while.

I guess we will have to bow and lure Mark Jackson from the ESPN Halftime Show.:(

who will step up and NOT throw the ball to Yao now:rolleyes:

seriously, I think he was a heady player with a lot of guts - I can't believe he got himself hurt on a hack-a-shaq play
