Man, one bad loss and one untimely injury can lower so much of our expectation. We were talking about home court advantage before yesterady.
It's kind of hard to post a link to something reported on the air on 790am. Here's a link to their site, they have streaming so you can listen to Charlie Pallilo's show with David Dalati and the updates. http://www.790kbme.com/main.html
yesterday, or the day before, home-court advantage in the first round was nearly impossible to begin with. So in that sense, 5-8 is the same for us.
I mean we were pumped up to move up form here on. Now, all we care is make the playoff. Just in two days. Well, it only took Minny 3 weeks from heavn to hell. So ...
yea i heard it myself on 790. thats bad as* news!! give him the full two weeks off and even a week extra for safe measure, theres no need to risk anything by coming back early...still got a lot of games left in the season and we're sitting pretty comfortably in the playoff picture.
They should go ahead and scope his knee now, he's out for an additional week or two, but perfectly healthy for the playoffs.
Good news? Sure! But on the other hand, the depth of our roster is kinda exposed. We are just too vulnerable at the PG position to be a real contender.
I remember when Matt Harpring of the Jazz scoped his knee last year, he missed 50 some games (rest of the reason) to rehab. We need Sura for the reminder of the regular season, not just the playoffs. If we keep Barrett and Strickland running around on the floor, we'd be lucky if we can make it to the playoffs at all.
Here, when we meet the Suns in the second round of the playoffs, let's make a deal with the Suns so they take out Nash, and we take out Sura. Then see who wins the serie. I bet we will slaughter them and Yao scores 30 on Amare every time!
That is great news I would say. We can let Kings lead us and we just defend 6th position. After watching the game of yesterday, I did really like Sonic to be our opponent in the palyoff. Supersonic will be the most delious dish for us when compared with Dallas and Kings, not saying there might be some earthquakes in that team for the sake of so many re-signing issues.
This is great news. The Rockets were gonna have a rough time anyway over the next 2-3 weeks given their schedule. Now they'll hopefully have Sura back for the last 5 weeks of the season as they try to lock down at least the 6th spot.
This is the time for Gaines to tell JVG that he is ready to get some PT at point guard. This dude is tall and athletic. He can probably rebound pretty well. If Gaines wants to prove himself, it's time to do it.
