I hadn't heard anything about that. It sounds like the courts got it right. The NOPD seem like they were definitely in the wrong. I'm not sure there is a connection between a police department trying this, and the Federal govt. doing it because of bad economic times, however.
whatever dude And still questioning official documents that have been released and verified by authorities makes you look how? your issue, not Obama's
I agree, but this conspiracy is missing the cool sci-fi angle with all the drone missiles and alien space lasers.
Every single argument to make Obama not a natural born citizen has been debunked. There is no legitimate anecdote from the Grandmother. There is no question of dual citizenship getting in the way since it would have expired when Obama turned 21 and Obama never renounced his U.S. citizenship Obama provided valid documentation(certificate of live birth) to show he was a natural born citizen. That leaves the doubters with absolutely nothing. There is no proof whatsoever that Obama is not a citizen and plenty of proof that he is. The case is closed.
I don't know. This still doesn't explain why his name sounds anti-American and he looks like a foreigner.
I really hope this ruling holds up if another natural disaster or attack happens in the future. If there's many more job losses you'll see civil unrest and it will be critical to be able to keep your guns to protect yourself from rioters or criminals. For whoever said they'll have to take your gun from your cold dead hands, that is truly American and I hope plenty of other people carry that same attitude! As per the topic, I really don't see this citizenship thing will go anywhere. Whether or not it's justified, most everyone in Washington loves Obama.
That is the strongest piece of evidence the plaintiff would have. And there is pretty much no defense against that.
Maybe you can answer the question that the other poster ignored. Did you demand the same evidence from Clinton and Bush? If not, what's different here, besides the fact that a bunch of discredited rightwing kooks keep bringing it up? Followup question - do you believe a President/candidate should be required to answer every question from every conspiracy theorist in the world? If I started a website claiming Bush wasn't born in the US, you think his campaign should have been forced to prove me wrong? Do you think Sarah Palin should have been required to release medical records to prove that the baby was hers when that stupid conspiracy theory was out there?
(sorry - didn't see this when making my last reply. didn't look this far back) Who exactly, is reporting all of these things? Is it an actual legitimate press, or right-wing blogs?
Its because he's black? Is that the answer you are looking for? Clinton and Bush did not live outside the US for an extended period of time nor do they have a family member questioning the birth. Im not doubting that he wasn't born in the US, but please stop this r****ded rhetoric of comparing the situation to previous presidents. If it violates a law regarding the situation and it brings enough attention, yes. In obama's case, its obviously bring up enough attention to reach the supreme court.
This is silly. If you run for a local office they go through all of your records to make sure you live in the city limits, etc. I just refuse to believe that anyone could get run for President and no one (CIA, FBI, the govt, conspiracy folks, etc) ran a check on him to make sure he was a US citizen. That doesn't pass my common sense test. Y'all think it's that easy to get over on the Dem Party or the US Government?
I am not sure that 53% of Americans "love" Obama. A certain percentage of the voters chose him because they thought he was the least bad of the two, or they were scared of Sarah Palin, etc etc... All of this being said, Obama is legitimately our President-elect. Until somebody comes up with irrefutable proof that he was not Constitutionally qualified to run, then this all needs to drop. We will all be a lot better off if we can be supportive of the President-elect, regardless of our own ideology.
