Oh I hate that, too! I stopped talking to my friends who say that because it annoys the crap out of me. IF the Astros choke today it's because all the people who were talking about them like they were already in.

I blame Hangout Boy. Sucker left his lucky baseball at home yesterday.

Then bring your lucky dog-masticated ball of twine.

You'd better be hammered by the top of the 1st.

Everytime I've been to the Posse East in Austin, we've lost in the last at bat. I will be locking myself in my study tonight and removing any sharp objects. That is the only way.

Every game we have won I have watched every inning from the same place. The games we lost I was in transition at some ponit in the game. Yesterday I started watching it at work on Fox. got in the car in the fourth. Listened to Milo until the 7th when I got home. Turned it back on Fox to find out the score. Sat there and watched it until I was crying like a baby. Tonight? Me. Bar. Ball. Astros win.

im definitely superstitious when it comes to sports. If i find a routine thats working i usually stick with it for a while.

I have a part time job and so far this post season everytime ive had to work and miss the game (whether its the whole game or even half of the game whenever its an afternoon game) we've lost. Everytime ive been off we have won so far.

    Today, i requested off.

    Go astros!

If Dan, the missile launcher, is in the game, it wont matter what you do or do not do. The game is done regardless of how you play your superstitions.

The same goes for all our other relievers not named Wheeler or Lidge.

Me and my buddy have noticed a pattern that whenever we do a random "top five sports" list during a commercial break of the game (i.e. Top 5 NBA MVP candidates next year, top 5 NFL QBs, top five NBA franchises in the last 20 years, etc.).

We forgot to do it yesterday b/c i was stuck at work watching the game.

    Sorry guys.

But we'll both be at Chammps doing it tonight!

Funny Codell, I thought it was my wife's fault. I came home after the game to see that she had been wearing a Cardinal Red sweater all day!

I forgive her because she wasn't born in this country, but, needless to day, I've made sure she's not wearing any red today! :)

If the astros don't score in the first inning...i think my mind will be able to rest easier.

I took off the celebration picture from Kent's homer off my desktop. I think that might have helped Edmonds.
