Although at this point in time, the Superman Returns movie is 316 days away from release, I've come to tremendously enjoy Bryan Singer's video journals; he reveals enough of the creative thought process, behind the scenes magic without spoiling his work for the fans. Superman Returns Video Journal #22 titled "20 Hours in San Diego" - the clip gives you a first look online at some of the footage that was shown and here is how it is described: San Diego Comic-Con - The largest comic event in North America. Superman - The world's most known superhero. Every fan in San Diego was anticipating what wonderful surprises might be in store during Saturday morning's Superman Returns panel, and Bryan Singer flew half way around the world to give fans their first glimpse at footage from the new film - which was answered with a standing ovation. Is anyone else following the evolving process? http://www.bluetights.net/bulletin_list.php
Damn, that looked really good. Possible to have both a good Batman and Superman movie within a couple years of each other? Didn't think it was possible...
I enjoy those behind the scenes diaries. I started watching them when Peter Jackson did it for LOTR and then with King Kong. There's even a diary from Kong and Superman that are about the same thing. They had a bit of fun where Jackson is too tired and calls up Singer to be his back up director incase he falls asleep. So Singer flies from Sydney to New Zealand and takes over for a while.
