Not sure what to think, just hard not to think of the good'ol US of A without Superman. Wonder if he'll get deported in the next issue?
Superman was an illegal immigrant anyway. When Wonder Woman came to America, she did it the right way, as an ambassador of her country. Aquaman is a foreign monarch that visits. Bats, Flash, and Green Lantern are all natural born US citizens. It is only Superman and the Martian that snuck in and hoped no one would notice.
Superman's human parents found him in a field where he had been abandoned by his (dead) Kryptonian parents. They did not report finding a child in their field, nor did they go through the legal steps to adopt him. If you found a Mexican kid in a field near the border, took him home with you without reporting it to anyone, and raised him; you would probably be arrested for kidnapping, not considered an adoptive parent granting citizenship to the kid.
In other news, modern American journalism and politics both suck balls. Nothing else going on, anywhere on the planet?
Shouldn't Superman be paying some kind of tax since Earth is letting him stay here? Flying around in tight spandex, selectively saving a few people here and there is nowhere sufficient.
Yeah this truly does eff things up for Clark Kent, how's he supposed to keep his job now? Fake social security number? lol now that'd be an interesting storyline twist, but i'd be afraid radical idiots would start burning superman issues and memorabilia, then looking for this "daily planet" publication where "Clark Kent" works in order to kill him, as well as mess with the city of "Metropolis".
