Who else know Saddam Hussein held a key to the city of Detroit?

    well it is detroit.

actually, that was hilarious when i just heard it. last person to get the key to detroit before bettis was saddam. i know we were on friendlier terms with saddam back in the day but why the hell would he get a key to an american city? what exactly did he do for detroit and was he really that big of a world figure in 1980 that he needed a key to any city he visited or something?

I thought it was a great Super Bowl. It was full of momentum changes and big plays. If you didn't think the Willie Parker run was magical, you must have missed it by getting up to get a bag of Doritos at half time.

I wouldn't call it Magical, Marcus Allen's run was magical, John Riggins 4th down run was Magical.

Willie's run was longest, but he basically ran straight.

between this comment, saying the game was well officiated, and calling parker's run magical, i'm just guessing that you're a big steelers fan.

Not really. I like Rothlisberger and Hines Ward-thats about it. I despise "The Bus" with a passion also. My team is the Texans.

I was hoping someone else would post this. But did ya'll miss Rocky Bernard's omition of a&m during the intros? That was hilarious. Was it managment, personal shame, or hometown pride that made him forget?

Hindsight 20/20, this was the highlight of XL.

    Wow, what an awful game.

At this level you come to expect someone stepping up and having a huge game. Someone playing above themselves. I didn't see ANYONE on that field do that last night. Yes, Ward had a very good game. But there was absolutely nothing memorable about that game last night.

Neither QB played well. Both floated awful interceptions. Neither defense was very impressive. I kept waiting for someone to step up...or for some memorable moment. It didn't happen.

Oh, and the officiating was awful.
