Dude, you are talking to an Astros fan here. Of course I know what it's like to just be thankful you got in, even though you got your butt handed to you on a paper plate. :D

My post wasn't more MW/VY vitriol, it was illogical sour grapes aimed at the team belonging to Bud Adams. ;)

Hey I could forgive VY being from UT...but he would have to play for the Texans. (I love Earl Campbell and would bear his children if biology made it possible..and I hated UT just as much in the Earl era ((though it was more of an innocent child's hatred..then my more mature hate of today))

But, he plays for a division rival. Moreover he plays for the Tennessee dwelling division rival, owned by Bud Adams, that USED to be my Houston Oilers.

So, while I stop just short of wishing him injured. I hope he has a pathetic career, playing just well enough in spurts to keep him in the league (albeit as its laughingstock) while the Titans string together a decade long string of Early New Orleans Saintish futility and 4-12 seasons..

If I must write a pleasant postscript I hope his career parallels Archie Mannings to the extent he has a son who is a much better QB who leads the Texans to many, many Super Bowls.

For the love of Vince Young, can we NOT start this again, especially in THIS thread?

Absolutely right, and Hillboy, my sincere apologies for insulting YOU. That ridiculous take of yours, however...

Good for Mario and the Texans. I was a strong supporter of the pick from Day 1 and I'm glad to see others are recognizing Mario's talent.

Injuries for the most part and just plain lazy for the other part. I don't think the Panthers were very happy with him this season. They have a decision to make with him as well. If they don't do anything with him contract wise, he'll take up 1/10th of their cap. Looks like they'll be forced into extending him to a more cap friendly contract.
