What exactly were the parents of these two guys supposed to make an effort to teach that we're sure they didn't? What leads us to conclude that these two guys failed to understand that they were killing people in reality instead of like in a cartoon or video game? I find this whole line of thought to be really strange - they knew what they were doing.
I'm not saying they thought they were in a video game and not reality. I am saying that they didn't understand the consequences of their killings as it relates to reality as opposed to the lack of consequences in a video game. I am not just talking about two kids, I am talking about many kids. As a teacher I see it all the time.
I don't understand the preoccupation with video games. Other mass killers like those who 'go postal' in their office commit similar crimes without having heavy exposure to video games.
Exactly. I get what you mean Meowgi but out of respect for those affected this type of stuff shouldn't be praised. I mean, what if a bunch of idiots made a game where you crash planes into the WTC? This is where this thing lies....
