The Washington offense, yes. Williams only had 4 passing tds. Smith had a rushing td.

Hm, #4 this year in Yards per Attempt, #10 in touchdowns. He's a good quarter back on a team with a strong running game and good defense. He's much much better Flacco.

Williams wasn't spectacular so much as that one Denver safety got set up in the first quarter by a Redskins game plan and burned for 5 touchdowns in the second.

Picking cherries is fun! He was also 11th in yards, 27th in completion percentage, 32nd in QB rating, and 2nd in interceptions!

The logic was San Diego had Manning's number and Brady is Brady.

But point is, they didn't overrate themselves. Maybe the media did.

Downplay it all you want. He delivered the goods. It's isn't often you see 4 TDs in one quarter no matter what the circumstances. This was the Super Bowl and it was over at halftime. Nothing like Trent Dilfer.

Actually, he's number 7th in QB rating and #12 in completion percentage. He actually does have a low 210 Y/G (20th) but once again as I've pointed out, it's because they actually have a good running game AND he picks up an addition 30+ Y/G running.

Also given his high Y/A and and only above average percentage show's that he goes for quality (longer passes) over quantity (short dump offs).

I don't know where you're getting your numbers but they are wrong, his QB rating was 73.1 this year in between Chad Henne and Matt Schaub for 32nd in the NFL. His completion percentage was 59.0 right in between Mike Glennon and EJ Manuel good for 27th in the NFL. He was garbage this year, worse in fact than the tandem of Schaub and Keenum.

Expected...thank you to all that did the right thing and pick the seahawks and the over...Congrats to the Seahawks for putting on blast the overrated offense. I get that Manning and his team had a wonderful season; but football purists wouldve seen that the way the Seahawks came to play in the playoffs. Congrats to the Broncos for a wonderful season; tough way to close a season, but unfortunately your team was overmatched.

I'm not seeing the 73.1, I'm seeing 101.2; Where are you getting your numbers? Just want to make sure we're talking about Russell Wilson.

I was talking about Flacco, if we want to talk about Russell Wilson he has game manager stats. He throws the ball less than anyone in the NFL and relies on his defense to win.

Thought Aaron Rodgers...but he got it his third year as a starter...after being in the league for about 5 years.

Russell Wilson played mistake free football and made terrific throws when he had too...but the Defense as a unit won this game...Seattle dominated every aspect of this game...defense, offense, and special teams...

Considering this was my original post, my whole point is that Russell Wilson is NOT a game manager, he just goes out and does what's needed.

Game managers don't have 8.1 Y/A (Dilfer averaged 6.5 Y/A for his career and around that for his time in Tampa Bay). Find me a game manager that get's ~8 Y/A and above 90 QB rating.

Kaepernick was 8th in the league in your cherry picked stat at 7.69 Y/A and had a 91.6 QB rating....the only full time starter that threw the ball less than Russell Wilson. Strangely enough not all that different from Alex Smith in 2011 when he was in San Francisco never throwing the ball. at 7.07 and 90.1 QB rating.

With game managers who rarely throw the ball it's a small sample sort of issue in that they throw the ball about half as much as the top 10 type QB's do.l
