My favorite team(Colts) and my favorite player(Brees). Should be a great game. I do feel that Colts will end up winning this one by 4.

Colts won't lose the turnover battle, thus the Saints will have to play out of their minds on defense to have a chance. Colts go up big early, and the Saints mount a comeback and get within a score, but the Colts hold on.

    Colts 34, Saints 27

The city is going to be burned to the ground with the Saints in the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras going on at the same time.

Maybe the Saints can pull another one out of their asses, but I'm going with the Colts.

Um, there's not much of a relationship between yards per play and fumbles. You'd be foolish to deny that the Saints played damn well defensively against the pass yesterday.

I love how Saints fans completely rippled off this "Who dat?" chant stuff from the Bengals. Might as well start chanting "S-A-I-N-T-S, SAINTS, SAINTS SAINTS!!" next. Hell, maybe they could start waving golden towels too?

i'm leaning to the colts. Its hard to cheer against Manning...then again, i have nothing against the saints and they were my 2nd fav team during the oilers years. I wouldnt mind a saints win so long as Bush busts out one of his electrifying 14 yard days. :)

Manning isnt going to make the bad plays favre made...he also isnt going to miss receivers like favre seem to do a lot of yesterday.

But NO's offense will keep them close and if they are clicking, they could win.

The pass rush was very good, but the secondary wasn't that great.

i'm thinking it's gonna be a shootout. if the game gets a little chaotic i think the saints have a good chance. the jets were so conservative and that played into the hands of a team as disciplined as the colts. if the saints can be disruptive on D, maybe get a turnover or two, then i think they can score enough to stay with them. we'll see. great matchup, different styles from the teams with the two best records. you can't ask for much more. GEAUX SAINTS

In the first half, the Saints did pretty well, but I don't think you can say the Saints did well in the second half. They didn't force a single punt in the 2nd half, and gave up 300 yards of offense in the half. The Vikings had 6 drives and the only thing that stopped them were turnovers or the endzone. The Saints defense was good at getting turnovers, and in the end, that's all that mattered. But they certainly didn't slow the Vikings offense at all.

Yards-per-pass is useful in aggregate over an extended period, but over a single game, it can be distorted. For example, a team that completes 100% of its passes for 4 yards per completion will score on every possession, despite being held to 4 yards per play.
