Worst half time show I've ever seen. It looks like Gary Busey and a drunken Elvis Costello trying to perform The Who but I could be wrong.

The most unelectrifying half-time for the most electrifying game of the year.

Can I get 15 minutes of my life back? The Who sucked ass. Stick with TV theme songs.

LOL well said. I saw The Who in concert 2 or 3 years ago and they were much better then.

Townsend with his misbehaving blazer and Daltry...well it was like awkward karaoke. Visual effects were superb, but the music? Yeah not so good.

I thought the halftime show was excellent. I'm 25 for what it's worth.

The problem for those clamoring for someone "under 80" is that there aren't any good options of bands that appeal more to the younger demo.

Who do you want? Nickelback? Kings of Leon? Beyonce? Taylor Swift?

Terrible. Could they get any more geriatric?

Let's bring back Hermits Hermits while we are at it. Or the loving spoonful. I'm sure Grand Funk Railroad is available.

I know, like why couldn't they have Taylor Swift or the Jonas Brothers, you know like someone who can actually sing.

I didn't like the harmonica for Baba O'Riley. They could have hired a session violinist to be up there and act like he's playing since most of it is overdubbed anyways.

I'm torn because most of the current music today is crap. Who wants Miley Cyrus doing the SB?

The Who is awesome...no, WAS awesome. Most music today is garbage but I'd rather see the two you mentioned up there next year than another bunch of old guys well past their prime. At least we know those American Idol folks can sing.

Well, people set their expectations up too high-and almost every halftime show gets slammed on this board by most. You know, they could go back to marching bands at halftime- I'll take a 50% Who any day over Justin Timber**k and most of the crap bands out there. The only "big" bands they can get out there that are contemporary would be Green Day or someone like that- it's slim pickings. Don't like the old bands? Then who exactly would you recommend? Eminem? People can criticize the "old fogey" groups but there isn't anyone else they could recommend. Sure, let's bring in Nickelback, the Jonas Brothers, someone like that. Awesome.
