Their regular season schedule was toughest in NFL History, based on this year's standing and last year's standing.

This year they played the Giants, Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, Ravens (x2), Patriots, Chargers, Colts, and even underrated Houston team.

Also, they played the Jags and Browns who were playoff teams coming into this year.

Ha ha...it's all good. It truly was my prediction, though i didn't post it until right after the Steelers scored to make it 3-0 on the first drive. It's all good, though. I don't win crap for it! Too bad I didn't bet it anywhere, thought I did pick the Steelers on my ESPN streak pick. Better than nothing, right?

Especially, when we had people talking about a certain team in Texas, not making the playoffs, because a hard schedule would keep them out.

Also, even though, the Cardinals lost this game. Kurt Warner should still get HOF nod.

He has had two biggest passing yardage games ever and he's a very clutch QB.

I feel worst for Larry Fitz.

Dude looked like someone ripped his heart out and put it in a bag and mailed it to gitmo.

He did all he could, and then some.

    Exactly.

I think Michaels bailed the booth out by saying what he said. If the booth didn't think that play warranted a review by the ref, then I don't know what play would. Last play of one of the greatest superbowls ever. You let the ref make that call, just like he is SUPPOSED to.

They played a tough regular season, but they got the easiest road in the playoffs.

They really got a huge break not having to play the titans. They got a break when they got baltimore after the titans' game because those two teams weren't even playing football. It was hand to hand combat, then they get Arizona who really played about their heads the whole playoffs. Just a lot of things fell right for them. All I am saying. If they would have had to play say the Titans or Philly or even the giants the steelers who have found the road a whole hell of a lot harder.

I think this was his chance, but no dice.

If he comes back next year and wins an MVP... then well

Me too. Really, it's the main reason I wanted the Cardinals to win.

I know this means little, but you realize that Warner has more Super Bowl appearances than Favre, Manning, Fouts, and Marino. More victories than Kelly, Moon, and McNabb. Also, he is one of the best performing QBs ever in the playoffs.

I don't see why everyone is saying this game was poorly officiated, It seemed to me like they got all the calls right. The penalties were in most case well deserved, the Cardinals lost their poise in the 3rd quarter.

Great game, but this is why I hate football; the end was so biased and subjective. How can you not have a booth review in the penultimate play in the season's biggest game? Who cares if it stays the same as it did on the field? You don't want to leave the doubt in the minds of anybody watching and the NFL has done just that. Could Larry Fitzgerald have pulled off a miracle catch and have us talking about the Super Bowl champion Arizona Cardinals? We'll never know because of the dumb review rules. I like football when a good game is played and this was a fantastic one. However, I'll be b****ing for years about this, and at a much smaller extent than actual fans and people in Phoenix, mind you.

I agree with the basic premise, that the Steelers had a relatively easy trip to the superbowl in the playoffs. But the whole Titans were robbed part from your earlier post was a bit much :/

When they pulled Chargers I even went so far as to say Chargers were the easiest game for the Steelers of all the playoff teams left in either conference.

Baltimore? Steelers were 2-0 vs. them as opposed to 0-1 vs. Titans. It doesn't mean the Steelers wouldn't have beaten the Titans, but getting the Ravens after their brutal slugfest a week earlier was very fortunate.

For the superbowl, out of the NFC? Of the final 4 teams, I was hoping they'd get the Panthers (run based offense + 1 WR vs. the Steelers D? Yes, please.) After that the Giants (no Plaxico) and then Arizona.

You guys are getting upset over nothing.

I watch many NFL games and I thought the officials did a good job tonight.

I am a smart man and have many friends.

Warner played a hell of a game. He's in the HOF for sure.

    Who got SB MVP?
