well. where i'm at, there was about 30 seconds of silence after the play. and it was not mentioned at all. maybe we lost the audio feed.
The Steelers were one of the most battled tested teams in league history, and usually those teams don't end up in the Super Bowl from tough schedule. This might be one of the best teams of the decade.
IMO, on the winning touchdown it didn't look definitive that Holmes' right foot hit the turf...from the side angle it looked to be an inch or so away... But anyhow, great game. I wanted the Cards to win but I didn't have strong feelings either way.
well, controversy or not... I still won my $30. yay kurt warner! suck it las vegas, you and your crappy lines.
That game went by quick, before I knew it it was over. I got distracted with giving the kid a bath and I came back and the game was over. Oh well, at least the Steelers have more rings than the Girls do now. That's one thing Cowboy fans can scratch off their "things to try and make our team seem like the best ever", list.
I've DVR'd this about 2 dozen times. In slow mow, I don't see how there is any doubt that Warner's arm was going forward at the time Woodley first made contact with the ball. With the 15 yarder on Farrior, should have been Cardinals ball on the 31 w/ 7 secs left.
The steelers had the easiest road to the superbowl, imo. They played the chargers who really aren't that physical and the titans and the ravens pounded each other into oblivion. If the steelers would have played baltimore first and the titans played the chargers the steelers it would have been steelers titans in the afc chamionshop game and the titans would have killed the steelers. As long as the titans don't have to play the ravens next year they will with the superbowl. It is sorta like the sonics and the rockets back in the day.
I would think a bully just picks on smaller people, and a punk is an ass munch to everyone? Guess it's just semantics, though.
They might not be one of the best ever, but the Steelers fought through what was said to be the toughest schedule in the NFL. Seems like every non-division game they played was against someone tough. They just put on the hard hat, left it all on the field week and week and won the Super Bowl. what, I literally don't know "what" to say to you.
