I just got back and I was so freaking happy to watch the Big Blue Wrecking Crew shock the world. Man, everybody I was watching the game with was ecstatic when Eli dropped it right into Plaxico's hands on that last drive.

Somebody else who believed in the G Men:

After not winning the Superbowl, I can't see the Patriots sinking a ton of money into Randy Moss. Here's hoping he winds up in Dallas next to T.O.

That manning scamble and catch by David Tyree for 33 yards was will over skill and will go down as one of the greatest plays of all time. It was unbelievable.

That drive was this generations "The Drive" and that catch was this generations "The Catch". Enough said

Great game, can't say that I'm upset about my prediction, greatest Super Bowl of all Time

I can't even begin to imagine the psychological damage of going 18-0, then leading the Super Bowl with two minutes to go, and then losing. Seriously, that's the kind of thing that can mess your mind for life.

Somewhere in China next week a box of "Patriots 19-0 NFL Champions" hats/shirts will be opened.

I'm sure Raiders and Rams fans won't mind seeing that happen to the pats.

The Giants were certainly the better team, and it's not really debatable. That said...

The decision by Belichick to not attempt a 48-yard field goal, indoors in a close game, and instead go for 4th and 13 (an obvious passing situation) against that defense might've been the single stupidest decision I've ever seen in my life. Completely and totally indefensible. The only one I can think of that close... was Belichick not calling timeout on defense and allowing the Colts to bleed 40 more seconds off the clock in the AFC championship last year before scoring the go-ahead touchdown.

Not saying he's a bad coach. Not saying fire him, or anything stupid. Just pointing out that two years in a row, in the biggest of games, he's made incredibly moronic decisions that had a part in the final outcome.

Well...they have won three Super Bowls recently...

They probably won't win another one, though. I am so happy about the outcome!

I had the feeling that this game would go down like this. The Giants were the perfect team to take the Pats out. Eli was a man out there. Pretty boring game in the first half, but that last quarter made up for it.

Belichick is arrogant as hell. Classless. You could tell as he ran off the field how arrogant he is. That whole team believed that the giants weren't even in the same league. But the giants had there number all game.

Brady didn't have a spectacular game, but he wasn't that useless. If that was the case the game would've been like 31-7.

It's stupid, too. Gostkowski isn't Vinatieri, but he's not bad. In this kind of game -- where any points are significant -- you can't pass on points when you're inside of 50 yards, unless it's fourth and very short. For an NFL kicker, kicks under 50 yards in a domed stadium/perfect weather are kicks they make routinely. And going for fourth and 13, against this kind of pass rush... is suicide. Like you said, it's incredible smugness, and a refusal to adjust when the situation dictated it.
